i3? DOH!!
depends what gen i5 and if this version of the mac mini take extra ram though ssd is fixed and extra storage is via thunderbolt.
not sure what the headsets are worth ….
new entry level macbook air is i3 (2020) and is better than the 2019 i5 version, so gen of cpu makes a difference.
could build nuc for less but then you still need os eg win10 or linux and this comes with supported os x.
Feels over priced for i3

If they had of made these a liiiitle thicker, to accomodoate 4x 2.5" drives, they would have sold like hotcakes for home servers.
Mac's is the only user accessible CoW filesystem.
Im an admin, and I run ZFS, but trying to explain the benefits and how to config it to an end user is an exercise in self harm ;pI would buy that if it can support 4 x 2.5" then I can replace my "large" 15L unraid server for it.

So many people exist online only these days, that, along with the i3 would allow 80% of people to funtion perfectly i recon.
Its enough space to edit your home photos/short movies, before you facebook, then delete them.

It also has a plethora of ports and is highly expandable.
Guh, I’m in the market for a Mac Mini but 128gb is just too small. You’d need to add an extra external drive which starts to defeat the purpose of its small factor.
Would be a nobrainer if CPU is i5.
Still a good deal tho.
