Probably not that desirable unless you own one of the pumps - isn't the most cost-effective option but does the trick.

I actually find it better value to buy normal handwash refills (not foaming) and mix 1 part handwash, 2 parts water.
That mix works well in foaming dispensers and its 1/3rd the cost
Isn't that reducing the germ killing efficacy?
(This isn't antibacterial in the first place.)
Thanks I’ll give that a try. Personally I do not like self foaming because I think it encourages less diligent hand washing, but I do have one dispenser and I’ll try your suggestion. 💐

Not really a mark up.
Standard price for palmolive foaming is $5.50 for 500ml, or $8.50 for 1000ml. The 500ml would regularly enough go half price for $2.75. And looks like Amazon has occasionally had 1000ml on sale for $5.00 based on price history.
So whilst not an excellent price for $7.50, its not horrible, nor a mark up.
My bad didn't notice it was foaming I think the ones I looked at were non foaming just standard soap so not an apples to apples comparison.

Don't think I've received a stock alert of any of the items I've put on alert. Probably needs to be in stock for x amount of time before they send out the notification.

To wash my hands, I purchase the shower gel from Aldi in the big pump bottle, still does the job and so much cheaper. You just need to wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds and it does not have to be antibacterial.
