You're a price in the title

  • Can this be price matched at other bunnings store? What do i need to show?

    • Worth a shot, but my experience has been, and from what I’ve read from a lot of other folks Bunnings generally won’t match other store clearance prices.

So you got a copy of the receipt bro?

        • Fair enough. Last time I tried to price match at Bunnings I was told by a manager of the store that I was in, that the other store had done a store specific override for clearance, and so they wouldn’t be able to match the price. They wouldn’t budge at all.

Things have either changed, or you were able to find an accomodating manager.

        • Wow.. where can i go in for pricematch?
Can u upload a clearer receipt that i can use for pricematch
          Thnx

        • which bunnings did you get them from? anymore stock?

          • -1

@jaj024: It’s on there websight can check stock also
The smaller ones I’m getting a few at $350
            https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/207116/78672/4e37dac9-…

            • @Dex38313: how can they “price match” the big ones at only $450? They are only available through special orders desk, directly from supplier.

              • @GregFiona: I did it instore as some stores have stock I got 5 large and two small ones sofar asking for a better price

                • @Dex38313: Thank you. Are you keeping yours or selling them?
Also, do you have a receipt with the date on it? I was going to try my luck at my local bunnings tomorrow

                  • +1

@GregFiona: I posted reciept the date is in the barcode 20/4/2020

                    • @Dex38313: I don’t no y all the negatives because I can get bbqs at $1350 of the Rrp just by asking and I put up receipts showing said price

                      • @Dex38313: I didn’t give you any neg. I guess people are just very sceptical because of the huge discount.
I will visit my local store tomorrow with your receipt, to be honest, I don’t think I will have any luck.

                        • @GregFiona: I never ment yo day u did sorry for that
But someone used all there on my comments

                          • @Dex38313: No luck, unfortunately.
Asked the guy in the BBQ isle, he said they do not pricematch their own stores. He also said this is a “special order” item and they do not stock it.
While I was heading to the Special orders desk, I noticed there was a display model and a brand new in a box on the floor. I showed your receipt to the Special orders girl
and after she spoke to 2 or three people in the phone she said that they cannot match the price because they are still stocking it. Hub II is coming out soon, she told me to try again in a couple of weeks :(

                            • @GregFiona: That’s funny as I was told Bunnings stores were selling off the displays I didn’t price match on the first I asked to pay $450 all the others I got price matched and the stores I was in were happy do doo so as they tilde me all Bunnings price match

No bad when you're fully prepared to pay full price. Almost bought a 2nd hand one from Gumtree for more than this!

  • Powerful enough to use to paint a fence?

    • Someone told me once you need 100l/min air delivery for a spray gun. My compressor is slightly under this and i've done OK with it (but i pause every minute or 2 to give it a chance to fill the tank)

    • Probably not.

I looked up a random HVLP sprayer and it wanted 10CFM.
      FAD on this is 4.2CFM.

Running pain sprayers is reasonably hard without a big, preferably 2 stage compressor.

  • How many were there approx? Thinking of going there right now before they close

    Tool shop?? Just outside?

    • Bunnings closes at 7

  • I am just around the corner

But too late now, for sure

Air tube faulty .. returning tomorrow .. unless they replace just the tube

    • Shows as "Power Pass saving" on the receipt so I assume you would need to have a power pass for any chance that another store would price match based on this receipt.

      • Shouldn't, the item was reduced. I just scanned my powerpass for digital receipting. Price on the image too

        • Well I'll be damned. First store would not price match but second store (Oxley in Brisbane) did without question.

          • @ikey2: Hey Ikey2 any chance you could send through your receipt? Rocklea wouldn't price match.. heading to Oxley now to see if they will
