What they really mean is 10% off a bunch of random items from random sellers which we will give you no help at all to find so the chances of you saving anything is actually very slim.

    • Well, if you know specifically what you want to buy, on the search page, ebay now tells you what the best available coupon for that product I think

    • +3

Actually, the search function on the sale page is working. I managed to search for items on the sale using it.

      Click on Go to Deal.
Scroll down the page to a search box labelled "Search More for Less with 10% Off*"
It will filter the items currently accepting the coupon code.

      • I don't have any "go to deal" under search or anywhere else I can see?

        • "Go to Deal" is the button on this OzBargain page underneath the thumbnail of the stand mixer. Basically you need to go to the eBay page that is linked by this deal.

  • Looks like Computer Alliance is also included.

    • +1

Their Samsung SSD price gone up a lot.

      • I was looking at the same. Still cheaper at Umart.

    • But unfortunately hideous prices (even after 10% off) on the items I'm looking at compared to other retailers like Umart and Centrecom

    • $360 for the 8tb iron wolf is a really good price. Items I have saved hasn’t got a price jack from computer alliance.

  • Futu Online included; MSI NVIDIA GeForce RTX 8GB 2070 SUPER Gaming X Trio $959

    • Are you saying that's cheap or expensive?

Pre-covid 2080 Super went for less than $900
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/512774

      • It's a good price for the MSI card right now. Given supply chain shortages and low exchange rates for some time to come, I wouldn't expect the prices you linked again for some time. I just bought a GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER Gaming OC 3X White from SE for $899. I probably would have went for the MSI at $959 instead if I had bought it this week.

        Pre dollar tanking

    • $917 for Gigabyte RTX2070 8GB SUPER Gaming OC 3X PCIe GV-N207SGAMING OC-8GD Video Card

Ouch this pricing hurts my brain since I bought this for $720 about 3 months ago. Eff you COVID-19!

  • Been looking at the Samsung 65" Q80T QLED TV, currently a pretty good price at $2488 (including delivery)

Thank you Very Much for posting

Finally they have a search box now but the search result didn't cover all.

Like LG 75" TV this didn't come up but included.

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/75UM7600PTA-LG-75-Smart-4K-UHD-A…

    • I saw similar results. Viewed an item that showed the coupon on the product page. Attempted to find it via that search and it wouldn’t come up.

      Don’t trust the search.

  • +4

Futu online has Ryzen 5 3600x listed as $445 but when you click the product it is $495… they must have just jacked the price right before coupon went active so it hasn’t had time to update the search result page. Ebay must have forget to tell them to start the jacking. Dodgy bastard of an eBay seller. They have gone downhill along with a lot of others that were once good. However eBay is to blame, they are failing their sellers and with the rise of Amazon it couldn’t be at a worse time. Shame shame shame.

This is pretty bad and I don't think anyone should defend this this behaviour or dismiss it (unless they are on eBay's payroll)

I'm seeing prices that are ridiculous even after the coupon is applied.

Some people here will definitely find a bargain.

However the average person browsing eBay and seeing this 'great' code 'saving them money' are actually quite likely to be ripped off in these sales when taking into account clear examples of pre-sale jacking of prices and the fact that quite a few items are cheaper at other retailers (without any fancy codes).

  • Booooo!

There is alot of people named Jack on that website, not sure if trust worthy.

  • Shit coupon from eBay as usual

    Screw these guys

    • Yep, waiting for a 15-20% off "selected sellers"…

  • +1

    Futuonline:
    3700x, before sale - $630 ish
    After sale - $699

    Thanks Futu!

nothing ever on sale on my watchlist. Ebay & selected items only

  • -1

    Normal price jacking

  • Whatever happened to sitewide coupons? They used to always have something running from 5% to 20%+. Now it's just a joke, coupons only applying to selected sellers who jack up the prices. I've cancelled my ebay plus since there's no good deals there either.

  • Holy crap! The code actually applied to something on my list. Emphasis on something… not plural. And it wasn't even a price jacked item… WTF eBay? or did I just catch a seller with their pants down??

Still, no upvote for the deal because everything else on my list is "exempt" or "price jacked"…
