    AliExpress had a sim'ly spec'd 12v 5a
(sans all the untestable claims) for just $ 16
    albeit a while ago

Yes, prices rise faster than bread dough
on that site, but $108.85 is many times $ 16

    • +1

Yeah but C-Tek is a very good charger….do you have a link to the $16 one? I'd be surprised if it's anywhere near as good.

    • Not even in the same league. I'd go with a trusted battery charger brand.

    This normally goes under $100

  • For all the battery issues people are having not driving their cars regularly in lock down

There are more serious issues than just a dead battery which is relatively easy and cheap to fix.

  • I have this one and it's brilliant. I've used it on everything from my SUV to my motorcycle and even the ride on mower. I got it last year for just under $100 from memory. Worth every penny so far.

  • I got a $27 one from Kmart, my cars battery was flat, put it on for an hour and the car started 1st time. Glad I didn't spend more.

  • Very happy with my CTEK. It has a recondition cycle as well for anyone wondering.

  • +1

I am very disappointed my CTEK. Barely used and failed. Went to use it one day and found I couldn't change modes and there was no output.

    • +1

      My MXS5.0 does this.
      Can't change the mode.

  • Wait until tomorrow guys, use the 15% ebay off code instead.

  • These are tempting, car doesn't start that clean even though replaced the battery, but don't use it often.
Wondering if it's worth it when a battery is really only $140-$170 for my car (Liberty Japanese type battery 430CCA).
    Don't really need i guess
    Cheers,
