  • Anyone who has one, how much bigger was your toilet than the required measurements.

Ours fits all of them, however still see people saying it looks funny and quite long.

Any possible solution for toilets with rain water tank water connection and not fresh?

  • my inlet is inside the cistern. any one dealt with this before?

    • +1

Need to cut a hole. Check here

    • same. let me know if you ever install one

    • I did- inlet comes in the back left.

Cistern also allowed for bottom filling so I took it all apart and fed the seats input through the bottom of the cistern, out the side and into the seat. Very neat- a bit of a pain.

Lol meanwhile the Kogan one that used to sell for $319 has gone up to ~$1250 and currently on 'sale' for $849 https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-premium-smart-wash-dry-re…

We removed ours on a complaint from a sophisticated guest. Incident occurred last year when this thing shot water (automatically) while the guest was in process of excretion. Created mess and caused huge shame because 10 mins before we were telling them how smart appliances are making our everyday life easy at home.

    • Wow I can't even(and don't want to) imagine it

    • +1

The bold text is my favourite part.

    • +2

Why did it automatically spray? The "sophisticated guest" must of "accidently" pressed the button and blamed it on the "smart" toilet

  • this is ok unit, however don't recommend it. I got this one a month ago, when TP madness started. however, WiFi is not usable as data loss is 80%+ withing 2m from the router. also, the spray is real, that ricochets on the back part of the pan / seat - the nozzle/design not as good as a proper smart toilet (i.e. Princess, etc)

    • What's the princess one and how much?

      • That's standard pan, not just a seat. Prices is Korean, but there are heaps Japanese on the market

    • Agree on the WiFi- the AP is int he next room and it's constantly low signal. However, the spray is fine for us- cleans well with no ricochets.

    • +1

Do you mean it sprays so hard that it ricochets from your behind? Have you tried to close the inlet tap a bit? Not sure if it has a pump or uses the incoming water pressure…

    • Yes, 100% agree with wifi issue. Have to constantly re-pair with phone app all the time.

  • +1

Please release a version with power cord and water cord sides switches around

    • @Gearbite are you planning to release one that has the electricity and water around the other way? In five toilets across two homes I own, the water valves are all on the right side. I wonder if this is by design to make it easier for right handed people to do installations? Other posters have similar comments. I don’t want to have to retrofit if I can wait for another model. Thanks

  • It’s my understanding that bidet seats keep water warm within the seat so it’s always ready for use. Can anyone who has one of these or other brands comment on whether there’s any noticeable increase to electricity bills with it being heated all the time? We live in a cold area so it’ll be working harder to stay warm. I suppose the offset is reduction in toilet paper cost

    • +2

instant heated water, no keeping warm water within the seat, so electricity bill will be low.

  • When i search or use the qr code to find the "Mi Home APP", it takes me to a "Xiaomi Home" app. I installed it and signed up, but it cant find my toilet seat. And toilet seat doesnt even show up in the list of supported devices in the app. Am I doing something wrong?

    • You need to choose China region when installing app

  • Hello I just received mine.

Does any one have the following problem

The seat heating is always on?

How do I change the settings so its only automatic when sitting on the seat?

    • You can turn off heating at app by schedule time.

      • thanks for the reply

so if i turn off heating by schedule time,

when i sit on the seat will it automatically turn on?

        • It will automaticlly turn on.

  • My old Xiaomi toilet died, need this new one to go in sale again. ☹️

  • Thought id comment on this after purchasing, installing and using for 2 weeks.

I had a powerpoint installed months earlier in anticipation of a purchase, so it was good timing when this one came up. My wife had mentioned her parents bidet previously, so this was a good price to experiment. As a comparison point, i have visited a friend who has a $3,000 fancy bidet (that he reckons is now going for $5k) and to my noob ass, it felt comparable (minus the handy remote, substituted with an app).

Using the listed measurements, the toilet seat itself fits well, however the lid hits the cistern and is always on the verge of leaning forward and self closing. Have kept it in its upright position using some blu-tack.

It was easy to install and came with all the appropriate plumbing.

The app connected fine and I was able to configure seat temperature, water/air temperature/strength. After it has been set up, you can ignore the phone and just use the 3 push buttons on right hand side of seat.

Coming into cooler weather, having a heated seat is awesome. Neither my wife and I have found that we actually use the bidet function. The water element is fine but the air drying function leaves my ass wet, then i make a mess trying to dry myself with soggy, disintegrating toilet paper.

Happy enough with the purchase, but all i have really paid for is an electric heated seat. Would not buy a bidet again, but would definitely buy a heated seat if they are available separately.

    • Thanks nosey. Could you post a few photos and all the measurements you have compared to the required ones from the seller please.

Have been interested for a while but don't want it to look funny.
