Still waiting on mine from the last deal! Was shipped on the 3/4/20 but Auspost seems to be struggling a lot at the moment.

    • +3

Please PM with your order no, we will follow up for you.

    • +1

Same here. Was shipped on 3/4/20 still waiting.

    • Yep, still waiting on mine. They mistakenly dispatched mine from Brisbane so the trip to Adelaide is taking a really long time.

  • Thanks rep, bought one!

  • +1

is this the latest version/model of Dreame ?

  • Will you have a deal on the air purifier 3H?

    • Do not have enough stock to run

    • please check here, very limit stock for 3H.

  • +1

Buying this is not a problem but getting a spare part like an additional roller or HEPA filter is a struggle.

    • +3

Getting Gearbite to sort out a warranty issue is also a nightmare. Our roller head stopped rolling. We sent the entire lot back, then they sent us back the broken roller head but with a new main unit. Wot? There wasn't anything wrong with the main unit. Now I've got to shoot a movie to show them what bits are broken and I assume then send the whole lot back so they can stuff up replacing it again.

      • Sorry about the inconvenience, please pm your detail, i will check with our team to make sure they send the right thing for you.

        • +1

Already working on it - but they’ve asked for a video of the fault. Which to be honest is a bit of a waste of my time when you guys already had the entire unit to look at but changed out the wrong part.
I assume you’ll want your broken bits back so another trip to the post office. Then a long wait for the replacement because you couldn’t do a warranty claim properly the first time.

At some point it’ll cost you more in postage than the profit you made selling the original unit. Probably already has.

@LuckyDrew: PM with your detail, i will follow up for you so they can send back quickly for you.

  • so without that carpet head combo i cant use this on carpet? just normal apartment carpet

    • +2

soft roller head was include in the standard package, you do not need carpet head if you do not need it.

    • +2

soft roller works well enough on short carpet.

      • How good is the soft roller for hard wood floors? Likely to scratch?

        • Wouldn't scratch at all. No sharp edges etc on the bottom of the roller head

  • Bought one! Perfect timing, thanks OP.

got this vac, pleased with it, would buy again. used the "bug removal head" on my mattress, and even though i vaccumed it a few weeks ago (with a different vac), what it picked up was disturbing.

I am a tall guy, and im not slouching with it.

The only thing ive found out is that it doesnt like a big clump at once, so if you use it to vacuum out your robovac, empty the majority into the bin, then vacuum the remainder/filter with this one.

When you empty into the bin, i recommend giving the sides a little tap first (loosen dirt in the cyclone). press the button while supporting the flap. When the flap swings open the dust drops out, but it seems to go everywhere. The first time i did it, i missed the bin entirely.

    Suction is great.

Not used to charging cables [like all dustbusters it has a wallplug and a tiny cable that falls onto the floor], when i get a place i'll mount it with the included mount.

Have the default accessories. Use the thin nozzle a lot, havent use the wider one. I thought the "bug removal head" was a gimmick, but it's used often.

I also have the xiaomi robo vac, and while good, it takes a long time to clean and entire house. If say i just want to clean the area in front of the couch, i nip out with the dreame and do that. Yeah you can program the robovac to do sections, but only if you have mapped the entire house on the last clean (and havent moved stuff around)

    • Hey which one is the bug removal head you are talking about?

      • +1

enlarge the main image on the ebay listing (it's also the ozb thumbail). the small square head on the bottom right. It's basically a carpet head, but smaller for upholstery.

It did "ok" on the car (too many curves/angles), but it did really well on the couch and mattress.

        • Thanks!! I haven't used it yet, I need to try it now.

          • @BuyNowThinkLater: give it a go! What i got out of my mattress disturbed me.

Use the extenstion too, so you dont hurt your back.

    • Hi @Davo1111 Is the height adjustable on this?

      • +1

nah, it comes with a single extenstion.

I measured the height from the trigger all the way to the floor, parallel with the pole. Its approx 110cm

        • Thanks

  • Could this compete suction wise with the v11

    • +1

I think you are asking a bit too much out of $250 vacuum

    • +3

if you buy me the v11 i'll let you know? It's only 4-5 times the price

      • You can get v11 for 800 .

        • +2

          so 3 times the price.

    • +2

This one is good for the price you are paying but comparing with V11 is unfair. I have owned this before and I can say that V11 is way way better than this but again you are paying 3 times more. If you have any carpets in the house I suggest to avoid it as you will be disappointed.

      • Thanks for the help cleared alot up

  • anyone got any clue how to clean one of these machines? I got one and it smells when ever i use it now.

    • Please check maintanance instruction at Vacuum manual. Some sample here and here

    • just make sure you let these things dry properly before installing back in. with my dyson (which is on its last legs) after washing the filter, i hang on the clothes line with some bungee cord, and hopefully the movement assists with drying.

  • Where can we buy the additional roller or HEPA filter or any other parts which can be replaced like battery in future? Thanks.

    • You can purchase battery and some parts from us, Hepa filter is washable.

  • +1

Got this a week or so ago, love it. Reviews show it's slightly better than the Dyson V8 in most aspects. Very happy so far, my only concern is getting replacement HEPA filters and other parts as I can't see Gearbite stocks the consumables for this.

    • +1

HEPA filter is washable, please check here, we do have some spare HEPA filter, we will get more if have many request.

      • Thank you, good to know!

      • can you share a link to buy additional spare parts like a battery or soft roller brush

  • -8

Personally I will be avoiding anything made in China for the rest of my life.

    • +4

Time to clear out (more than) half the house’s contents then.

      • Any new purchases will be made elsewhere. Will cost more but worth it in the long run. Yes I realize around 80% of products are made there.

    • +4

Good luck. That all Apple products (Iphone, Ipad, Mac), most mobile phones and parts, Ikea stuff, Computer and laptops (Dell, HP, Lenovo, all computer accessories), branded clothes, and basically every other thing out there. All made in China. :D

    • +3

      The ignorance is scary

    • Checked 2 random items, ps4 controller - made in chine, specsavers lens cleaner - made in chine, sooo good luck with that

    • Curious to know how you will uphold this, considering that even if an item is "made in Australia/Japan/USA/Germany/etc", usually it is full of Chinese components and materials at the very least, if not entirely constructed out of them and only assembled in the country on the sticker. I'm pretty sure there are many many small components and fixings that are only made in China now because its not economically viable for anyone else to do it.

Currently it would be almost impossible to live with fully non-Chinese products, unless you want to become a hermit with only the bare necessities.

      • We all need to do it. Otherwise the CCP will be running Australia in about 10 years !

  • With Mothers Day just around the corner, that's the missus present sorted!

  • can you share a link to buy additional spare parts like a battery or soft roller brush

    • Please check here

      • Is shopro and Gearbite the same ? This link is for shopro

  • How does this compare to the roidmi F8?

  • Where are these manufactured?

    • Uuummm China?

  • How does it compare to the Vax blade max 2? Leaning towards the vax cos it has a 36 month warranty

  • Grabbed one finally, thanks!

  • Do not get it if you have any carpets in the house. Not at all-powerful for carpets. Get a traditional vacuum instead.

    • You can get Combo with Carpet Head if you have many carpets in your house.

      • +1

Yes, did buy the carpet head as well but still not strong enough. Product is good for a house with laminated floors or tiles not for the carpets.

        • ok will keep my miele…

          • @CyberMurning: I wouldn't do a whole house of carpet with this but as a counter-point we vacuumed a rug with a Dyson DC37 barrel, then with this (carpet head on). It pulled up way more than the Dyson did due to the carpet head vs a standard head on the Dyson, and the suction was so strong on Max that it took a bit of effort to push it across the carpet. But agree for a whole house of carpet I would use a traditional vacuum with a specific carpet head.

        • I completely disagree. Both my wife and I agree that our carpets have never looked better since buying this from the shopro deal (yes it arrived promptly). We definately upgraded to this coming from the Dyson dc59 animal.
We are using the carpet head. I haven't tried the standard head yet.
We think this is great bang for buck.

  • Yeah thanks to Australia Post im still waiting for mine too from the last deal..

    • Please PM your order no, we will follow up for you, hopeful that will help.

  • So is standard power enough to vacuum the house with or does everyone use max power?

    • On hard floors I find power level 1 fine.

  • why nowadays copycat also copies the product name.

some people may not regard this as the copycat of dyson v8 if it use another name.

  • How much an extra/spare battery cost?
Can I swap/change battery easily on the go? I have a big house so I think, I may need 2 batteries to clean whole house

    • +1

Battery is for warranty use. You need unscrew to take out battery which is not design for swapping on the go. Check battery here

    • +1

I have a big house so I think, I may need 2 batteries to clean whole house

I can only speak to the "strong mode" and think the run time claim is real.

tbh, if you're cleaning a whole house at once, you should be getting a hardwired vacuum. IMO battery powered vacuums are solely for convenience and the casual nip around the house just before guests arrive.

Not hating on the vacuum (i like it), but you need to be realistic as of your use case.

      • i totally agree !!

  • Does anyone know how this one measures up to the Hoover Zenith? Pricing at $299 with attachments included.

  • Got mine from this seller late last week. Very happy and a great upgrade over my last Dyson V6.

  • Would dyson accessories- Roller head, suction nozzles, small brushes etc connect to this?

    • +1

probably not. The female end is round with two slots see image and would probably squeeze in various tools. But to power the head, it requires 2 pins.

      • Thats great. Thanks for th epic

        • np. I got out the calipers and the hole doesnt seem to be perfectly round. Fluctuated around 34-35mm (take that with a grain of salt)

  • Does it come with warranty or something? If it breaks or something is wrong 6 months later, are we able to get help?

    • +1

      12 Months warranty.

  • The code does not seem to work for me. Is this targeted?

    • Should not be targeted.

      • I get the below error message.
This code can't be applied to your order.

        • Make sure your have Main Address in Australia. Check with ebay if still have problem.

  • +1

Mine just broke after about 5 months, was great until then…..

Time to test the warranty of Xiaomi

    • I paid $396 for the combo, this is a great price

    • Please contact our team regarding warranty.

      • Yes I have, response good so far, they have offered to send a replacement battery, I will keep the forum updated on the service level

  • Thanks OP just ordered one.

  • Thanks OP! Was waiting to buy this for quite some time now.

  • Thanks OP, have just ordered one with the carpet head too, will see how this goes compared to my Dyson V6 which I have had for many years. All the reviews say its better than the V8 and just under the V10! looking forward to using it.

  • I've taken the plunge too, to complement the Roborock.

  • Thanks OP just ordered one.
