Note that it's HDMI 2.0 cable, a 2013 standard. So this is a fine cable if you have a 1080p TV or older 4K model without HDR, especially at 18gbps transfer speed.

IMHO you'd want HDMI 2.1, a 2017+ standard to be future-proofed which comes with (per wikipedia):
    - 4K 120 Hz (the standard in nearly all TVs for at least the last 3 years) and 8K 120 Hz.
    - 48 gbps (transfer speed - this is incredibly important for 4K HDR + Atmos/DTS:X content)

    Also per wikipedia,
    - Maximum supported format is 10K at 120 Hz
    - Dynamic HDR for specifying HDR metadata on a scene-by-scene or even a frame-by-frame basis
    - Display Stream Compression (DSC) 1.2 is used for video formats higher than 8K with 4:2:0 chroma subsampling
    - High Frame Rate (HFR) for 4K, 8K, and 10K, which adds support for refresh rates up to 120 Hz
    - Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) for object-based audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X

    • Will 2.1 vs 2.0 have much of a difference going form a PS4 to a new 4k TV?

    • Any suggestion for a decently priced 2.1 cable?
