This guy says you can reset it?

I don't own one, but I guess it's just an indicator like the Brita water filter? It won't technically stop working, but will just keep telling you to put a new one in?

      • u can reset it in Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 but not 3,
and yes u ar correct it will tells u to change the filter when u power on,
but won't have any effect on its abilities.

Havent tried it yet but apparently you can put alfoil on the bottom and then just rest it through the App - Will show up as an unknown filter. I havent been bothered as it still works but you get a message saying filter expired.

Damn, Just bough the smaller model 2H from Kogan a few weeks back for around $170. Didnt come with an AU cable though so Kogan gave me a $15 Credit and I picked up a cable from Jaycar for $8. We also have the Pro version in out loungeroom primarily for filtering out smoke from out Slow Combustion heater which occasionally lets a puff of smoke out when adding more wood. Seems to work really well

    • Does the pro have a rule setup? Like if PMI over 50 go to manual mode? Seems the 3h has this.

      • +1

No the Pro doesn't ( maybe newer variants of the Pro can ?? ) but you can set rules on the 2H and I presume the 3H also

        • Apparently it does! In automation on the app. Can make it run in manual mode etc and force it to high. I have a wood stove in the lounge like yourself, so will look at getting a pro for similar reasons.

  • sadly……expired when I am about to pull the trigger! :(

    • Sorry! :(

      • thanks for bringing this device to my attention!
gonna wait for the next deal….hopefully cheaper! :)

This is as good as it gets for now, depends on your location, could end up cheaper than the obscene shipping charges on Dicksmith

          • @The Milk Man: my shipping from DSE is around $11.99, so $199 is more expensive :'(

saw that one from private seller, warranty is my main concern tho…harder to deal with!

Same but on the pro. Had in cart last night but was doing research before pulling trigger. Price back to normal now. Doh

I am pretty sure I should have one around the house somewhere I can use. But didnt see in the listing that it doesnt come with a AU plug. Contacting customer service now..

    • My order says: Other items in this order shipped separately:
1x Figure 8 Cable (Black) Yet to ship.

Still havnt received my order yet though. What did customer service say?

      • yes confirmed…

"I have looked into this for you can confirm that your Australian power cable is awaiting dispatch. I can understand the frustration in this as you would like to use your device. This will be dispatched as soon as possible"

ended up finding a old plug here, so at least I get to start using it!

        • You are lucky, the support I got was

"I'm sorry to hear that it seems you did not receive a correct cable with your item. Allow me to assists you with that.

Could you please provide a photo of everything you have received?"

WTF?? They sold a "Global" version with round pins plug, I requested for a Australian power cord to use it. Why is it so hard for that guy to comprehend without visual aid? So I sent a photo but did not get any response after that…

          • @Buy2Much: Couple of days later, got this response from them:
"Would you be happy to provide you with an account credit to the value of $15.00 as a gesture of goodwill for your compliant adapter?" which will force me to buy something from them to use the credit.
This cable is selling at their store for $29.90!!!

    • My Xiaomi power-board is doing the job : )

  • what's the pm2.5 reading on your devices? Mine stays on 001 and I'm trying to dust blankets etc but the display won't budge from 001..

  • How is the noise on these units.
Do they make audible sounds when on auto or night mode, or are they silent?
