50% or More off Selected Products @ Crumpler

1380

Received an email saying Crumpler has a sale on selected bags up to 50% off but there is some way more than 50% off as well.

These bags are really good quality and should last you several years or longer if looked after.

My dry red no.5 still is looking new and hasn't broken apart on me yet after 5 years.

There are some really good deals there today, get in quick before they get out of stock.

https://www.crumpler.com/au/hot-bags-deal/?utm_campaign=Pric…

A few good examples:

Life Citizen : Was $249.00, Now $99. https://www.crumpler.com/au/life-citizen-black/
Art Collective Large : Was $199.00, Now $99 https://www.crumpler.com/au/art-collective-large-black/

Happy Place : Was $249.00, Now $79. https://www.crumpler.com/au/happy-place-backpack-black/

Plenty more if you look around.

Great post. Site is already getting Ozbargained though. Don't forget 7% cash back too.

    • what 7% cash back are you referring to?

      • +2

The cash back offers from Cashrewards and Shopback. Under the deal image above there is a Cashback link that provides details.

    Lovely bags

  • "Up to 50% or more off Selected products" what does that mean?

    • +12

Pretty much some bags are on sale between 1-99% off

      • +1

        Lmao 🤣

      • More likely some bags are on sale between 1-51% off

        • +2

No there are a few bags reduced from $250 down to $99 which is 60% off…

    • Well Crumpler said Up to 50% but then I saw some more that were more than 50%.

So hence up to 50% or more !

  • High-quality bags.

  • I just noticed they got rid of their old funky logo

    • I think they sold the business and the new owner get rid of the funky man logo.

      • Smart move.

    • That changed about 18 months ago now…

Do the Blunt X Crumpler Umbrellas ever go on the sale?

I missed out on the last sale from Blunt Umbrellas.

    • +1

Came here for this. Couldn't see any on sale.

  • +4

This happens every time they have a sale, website keeps crashing. We live in the age of scaleable bandwidth, why oh why.

  • +1

tried to put an item in the cart and it crashed multiple times. oh well I guess I don't need a bag anyways

    • +3

Yeah I was going to pull the trigger on one of these bags as well, was thwarted by the rubbish website. Oh well.

    • I gave up and then came back just then and it worked fine. Give it another go if you still want it

Do you have to live in Brunswick or Fitzroy to wear this bag?

    • None of the modern Crumpled bags got made in Australia… they're now made in China I guess?

  • I know the site mentions the bags fits 15" laptops, but is that an estimate? The laptop I use is 15.6",

    • Which bag are you looking at.

My Dry Red could fit a 15" Laptop which was the very old Dell ones which in theory is like the current modern 17" laptops as they now have thinner bezels and casing.

So as long as your 15.6" is a sleeker design I dont see why not.

I'm looking at the ABACUS and trying to fit in the HP ZBook Studio G3.

Guess I'll take a chance lol

        • Worst case you can sell it for the same price you paid after the sale ends on gumtree / FB.

        • You could return it, I’ve seen my local crumpler reopen at Flinders Melbourne.

Hope they don’t discount the mantra any further lol

    • I can fit my 15" XPS laptop in the 13" Dry Red in the main compartment and an iPad pro in the protective compartment.

Well that was a painful process but finally managed to place an order.

  • Site getting hammered from the look of it.

When I first started browsing it was fine too. Shows me for checking if I need it or not :P

Hopefully I can manage to check out before sold out!

  • so slow, so laggy

  • Not sure if just me, but trying to pay by PayPal just times out after it opens the Paypal window. It will close itself after a while and then my checkout page was broken.
Tried with pay by card and it was processed instantly.

    • No same happened with me, except after awhile it shunted me back to square one :(

Good bags, but the excellent warranty is a thing of the past, from my recent experience.

  • 1hr and 40 refreshes later i have successfully made my purchase

    • +1

      Same here, finally, phew!

  • +2

    Site crashing like Dodi's driver

  • Finally got my order in! Hopefully it's worth it!

  • 1.5 hours later, finally….

    • Same, 2 hrs of pressing F5 non-stop!!! Finally my order went through.

  • Are the straps on the Mantra any good?
I bought a large Rampaging Mob (holds a 17" laptop) years ago, but when it's full the straps cut into your shoulders along the seams. My $15 Target backpack has better padding and is seamless along the straps.

  • Does anyone know if the Travelator is suitable as a carry on luggage?

Man that photo with the person holding it shows the bag to be quite big but then the girl looks really short so its a bit of a mind f%&k.

    • +2

45 L is max carry on size but i'd say the dimensions of this would probably be a bit big. if you didn't pack it full it should be fine.

Thing weighs almost 3kg on its own so there is 3/7kg already used.

  • Despite the fact that they say Free Shipping on orders over $100, I got free shipping on my $79 order.

    • yeah me too, loving it.

    • +1

Me three. They must use the pre-sale price as their basis.

  • +1

Cheers. I agree the dry red was great. Their older camera bags were good too, the 5 million dollar home and Karachi for all the lenses too. Ah good times. Then they updated and became tamer and duller in design and colour.

Got a life citizen. looks solid, good for school.

Seems like Crumpler's having a sale very often these days. Wonder if this is their new strategy: to raise RRP and have sale periods every now and then. All that said, I have no qualms about their quality. The ones I have are so durable it's hard to justify buying a new bag even every few years.

    • +2

I am having the same issue.

I still have my Dry Red 5 and everytime I see these sale I can't jsutify getting a new one, not because that the new ones are priced poorly or design wise but I just dont see anything wrong with my current bag which has held up really well.

  • Bought a Happy Place!

  • Bought an Abacus in denim!

Just received my Life citizen today. A very well-made solid bag.
    Happy with my purchase :)

Received my Happy Place. I'm happy:) not sure how the rolled top is secured when it's extended though… Bought a rain cover off ebay for it when hiking/traveling. May use it as an ultralight overnight hiking pack.

Cheers OP, grabbed a happy place as it was still in stock!
