I couldn't see a deal for this. Got this in my email today. Seems like a good price for this size.

FYI delivery to Sydney metro was $17.99.

Yep it sucks. I might wait a bit longer.

  • Got excited… but then read the comments… I guess I'll wait a little bit longer.

  • I purchased the Kogan 30" Curved 21:9 Ultrawide 75Hz FreeSync Gaming Monitor (2560 x 1080)
    https://help.kogan.com/hc/article_attachments/360019535453/K…

Great price $289.00 - Can't comment as to whether 75mhz is awesome or not, but 'Kingdom Come' plays well.

As for the claim of Bezel-less Display - Horse Sh|t…

I currently have a Support ticket open due to my Bezel-Less Display actually having a 10+mm bezel on the left, top and right of the display - Hardley Bezel-less.

Kogan Support has claimed its not a Hardware Fault or Manufacturing defect and have so far offered me $30 compensation. I'm holding out as I want a 30" Bezel-Less display, as was advertised, paid for and expected.

I've heard from another owner of the same monitor who has experienced exactly the same issue.

Just sayin, if Bezel-Less display is important to you, Kogan Monitors may not be the best way to go…

  • Price wise it's reasonable, what about quality?

  • +2

Paid $289 for it in late March, quality is very good (for work, not gaming). The display port connection is a bit "loose" but HDMI is fine.

    • Can I ask how the colour accuracy is?

      • +1

Pretty good for my untrained eyes, did play some 4k videos and it's very respectable.

Could you elaborate on the Display Port connection? You need it for FreeSync with an NVIDIA graphics card, so that doesn't sound too good…

      • Well it seems the mini display port cable (cheap kogan one) on the back of my GUESS has to be at certain angle for the monitor to work. No issue whatsoever with HDMI.

  • Aw man, I paid $299 two years ago for the ViewSonic 2K 27inch IPS, that was a fantastic bargain back then, and still my nicest monitor. Look how far we've come.
I'd love to buy this, its a great price, but can't justify another monitor right now.

  • Monitors are becoming far more expensive than LCD TVs

I will take the 4K TV in a much bigger size for LESS MONEY thx
    Multiple uses

    • You can't use a 4K TV as a monitor.

  • Looking for a second monitor, purely for video watching (I have an Acer X34 for gaming). Just wanting good colours, don't care about refresh rate as the X34 does 100Hz G-Sync. Hoping for slim bezels, which this seems to have

Would this be a decent option for that?

Are there other monitors out there that may be a better option (2560x1440) for a similar price?

  • Will this make a decent 2nd monitor for work from home?

OK.. got mine Last Friday…. seems ok.. has all the right settings, even crosshair overlay, DCR, Freesync etc.

Althuogh I was definitely wrong in my earlier post and assuming Kogan would do the 'normal' thing… the 3.5mm audio port, for some reason is an INPUT, hence it is next to the VGA port.

Have a gen2 Chromecast hooked up to it, and max monitor volume + device cast volume isn't that loud.. unless there's a way to Bluetooth from a chromecast, this setup isn't great
