LG Optimus 3D @ TeleChoice $34/Month over 24 Months on Virgin Incl $450 Credit & 250MB/Month

160

Bought this phone over the weekend and love it! Plan might not suit everyone but thought I throw this one out there as the phone is newly released. The 3D is amazing & addictive; takes 3MP 3D pictures, up to 720 p 3D movies, comes with 10 free 3D games (include shrek cart, assassins creed, spiderman etc), can watch 3D youtube. Takes 5MP 2D pictures, up to 1080 p video. Picture quality is great. Also have 1.3MP front facing camera for inbuilt video calls (this pic quality is pixelated). Does everything else that a mobile phone does well. Operating Android 2.2 froyo but update to 2.3 gingerbread should be available in the near future.

    Where did you bring it?

LoL. Okay fixed it & others…:P

  • Awesome phone, awesome deal :D

  • Good deal, but Internet data doesn't look too generous.

  • Decent deal for a dual core 3D phone, though I havn't used one myself. I have used the EVO 3D and with this substantially cheaper it seems you can't go wrong. The Optimus also has a dedicated HDMI output.

Just because it's not a deal for you, doesn't mean it's a bad deal. There are plenty of people who don't need a lot of data usage for their phone.

You can get an additional 500mb/month for $5/month if you need it.

    • +1

I've a 600Mb/month from work for my phone and hardly anywhere near 1/2 that - more likely around 150Mb usage every month. I only used it to quickly check news, weather and occationally for GPS. Don't see the point of staring at a tiny screen for anything else - well, except this site :) .

I know this comment will be deleted, but it must be said. You're an idiot.

They don't delete the truth, do they?

    • Between home wifi, work internet, family and friend's wifi, and (free public wifi - rarely used), I find that I only use 1/4 of the 1GB p/m internet data that I had on my old phone (even with occasional wifi tether).

So many good android phones around these days but i'm gonna wait for the iphone5…i'm already locked into the apple ecosystem with all the $ i've spent :(

    • -1

      oh, im sorry…

cant wait to see the iphone 5 specs… hoping it will be yet another chance to bash them for it, really cant imagine it could be better than an SG S2, though im all for compition - so surprise me!

they cant get much better at the moment, though apple does have a huge amount of resources.

ahhh, i mustnt have been clear, people must have misinterperated what i said, as it wasn't meant to be taken in that way… let me clarify…

        apple is crap!

;) … nah, just mean that the latest gen phones are pretty fantastic, i dont know how apple could do up the anty, though looking forward to finding out, compition is great, should be good to see what the next generation iphone brings, even i'll say the interface was fairly revolutionary, even if the features/hardware wasn't.

  • hmmm

    3G Network HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100 HSDPA 1700 / 2100 / 850

wonder why they list it twice.. if it does all 6 networks, should cover telstra as well.

also, no LTE… now that telstra has released LTE, might be best to wait for phones with it.

  • What you can do with 250MB of data?

  • +1

yeah the data amount is useless. but you can get 1gb for 10 dollars a month and twie that if you sign up for twelve month data add on. I am very happy with my purchase. 44 dollars a month all up completely worth it.
