While technically a deal the second generation of airpods are currently available for cheaper:

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/538422
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/538404

You can do better than that AusPost.

    • Kogan can't be pricematched. School locker is not as reputable as Australian Post. This is a good deal.

      • What do you mean .? School locker is a business of Harvey Norman

Description on the page says "The new AirPods.." so you would assume it's 2nd gen. Although I am not associated with the sale, so can't confirm.

Are first gen even selling anymore though?

I'm sure some old stock exists somewhere, but if these are truly Airpods 2 the issue of incorrectly identifying the product is on your end, not mine.

    • Quick access to Siri by saying "Hey Siri" or setting up double tap.

Only the Airpods 2 has this function.

are these the first or second gen?

    • Quick access to Siri by saying "Hey Siri" or setting up double tap.

      Second.

Price matched with OW, delivered for $189.

    Thanks OP!

    • did you call them online or instore?

      • Online mate.

        • Where's the link?

    • $185.25 OW pricematched with Umart

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/538709

      • This deal has free delivery, where as UMart is charging $13. Do the math and this comes out cheaper.

        • +1

not totally accurate, you can pickup from Umart if you live close enough so you can argue that there is pickup option.

Samsung A51 can be had on the Samsung Edu store for $419.30

Even $50 less again with the email newsletter signup 👍

    • Yeah but not everyone has a .edu.au email so hardly a deal for everyone. Otherwise I would of bought it lol

  • Thanks for the deal OP, however I managed to get a price beat from Officeworks for $189 with click and collect. Couldn't be easier. I also addedthe $49 AppleCare+ for 2 years for when they inevitably die and I'm good to go.

    • Can you do this online? Or do you need to go in store?

      • I gave them a call, their number is on the website if you look for the price beat guarantee section. I spoke to someone on the phone, let them know AusPost was pricing them at $199, he did a check, confirmed the price beat and completed the transaction all over the phone. Had to enter my card details via the keypad so it was pretty secure. But yeah that'll be along the lines of what you'd want to get. Seems someone else has tried but had no luck. I'd upload the receipt here if I can find it. Just let me know if you need it and I'll see if I can source it as I wasn't issued a paper tax invoice

  • Officeworks in Perth city says they couldn’t see the part number on the website so can’t pricematch. make what you will of that!
