      Are you a rep or something for tht store.. this post is for potential apple product buyers and it is better for them as they can take $100 off the price.. You dont need to try and sell any stuff here tht is not apple related..neither you need to start a comparison between windows and Mac…if you are not looking for a bargain on apple, this post is not meant to be for you.     If this can be used on a base model Mac Mini ($699) then the discount is better than 10%. It is 16% disc.

        Then use the $100 saved to upgrade the RAM from 2GB to 4GB (or whatever).
        I just wonder whether we need dedicated graphics on this, if using it as a Plex box.

      I doubt it. Apple TV is not a computer, plus it is already so damn cheap. I bought mine earlier in the year. Now it just sits around the house unused.

        Have you considered installing XBMC on it? The latest nightly builds for ATV2 have been amazing since about last week.

          Yeah funnily enough I was just looking at the jailbreak options again. However, my only tv has a Mac Mini hooked up to it. Until I get a 2nd tv or monitor, I won't need to fiddle with the jailbreak yet.
