If you do order just remember shipping is very long at the moment. I was told at least 21 business as my order from the 5th May has still not left the warehouse.

The last two months have changed my impression of adidas.

It is a good product completely threatened by very slow fulfilment of orders, pretty average customer service and slow refunds

I’d think twice before ordering from them

Which company running sweatshops and child labor camps do you instead place your faith and trust in?

        • To anybody who fulfill orders quickly and have reasonably good service. That includes not making smartarse comments

        • +4

underarmour fulfilled and shipped the next day and arrived 2 days after that.

          • @staryknight: I agree. I've ordered a few times from Underarmour and their orders arrive pretty quickly.
I find their prices a bit on the higher side, so I usually wait until they have a sale going on :)

          • @staryknight: If into golf…Golfbox is incredible for there turn around and out of Perth. Quite often i order Sunday and get Tues in Adelaide. Impressive.

      • If you're happy to wait weeks for it to arrive, then weeks for a return your money back if wrong size, fault, etc the go for it.
I am in not that far from there warehouse either, would be even longer interstate.

      • what? adidas online has always had painfully slow shipping

      • coincides nicely with covid. maybe consider also external factors. not saying that adidas isn't all the things people claim it to be. personally, i ordered 2 pairs of UBs, some shorts and track pants back in early April. They all arrived in WA the next week - far better than some other retailers I've ordered from in this period.

      • I placed my order on April 12 and it was delivered to my parcel locker on April 23. Admittedly it took about a week before it actually got posted though.

    • +1

Yeah, I'd be weary from ordering from them as well. Early March I ordered from their site and opted to have the stuff sent to my work. Two weeks later it was announced my office was closing. The order hadn't been processed/shipped yet so I reached out to them to change the postal address. However, they said they couldn't change it. Company policy. I thought it was odd since the order hadn't been processed or shipped. They shipped the order to my work early April. And I've been trying to contact them since for tracking numbers etc.

    • Just when you thought today's fashion couldn't get worse…

      • +6

don't worry, i'm only wearing these at the gym.

you sounds like you'd be a riot at parties tho

        • +13

Yeah but seriously…. Paying $200+ to have 'I WANT" plastered all over your shoes. What kind of capitalistic hellhole are we living in if people like you think this crap is desirable? Just kill me pls.

          • +6

@Smol Cat: it's a callback to the original ZX.

"The “I Want I Can” slogan is taken from an adidas campaign from the ’80s that was used to launch the ZX footwear series’ Torsion System"

you might want to lighten up, your fear of capitalism is really bumming me out.

    • +9

      This is giving me trypophobia

      • i plan on weeding out the weak ones by wearing these in public.

Feel like Adidas messed up in March/April with the insane discounting. Presumably the stacking was not on purpose and now they are stuck filling a lot of orders.

Plus now I don't want to buy because those past prices were so good.

    • +6

      ^this

I really want UBs for running but can't pay more than $100 because of this. Post-OzB-Price-Syndrome.

      • +7

        Haha Post-OzB-Price-Syndrome is so real.

  • I'm still waiting on my Adidas order from ages ago…UGG Australia got negged for similar delays from a fair few users, it's fascinating to see expectations differ from seller to seller.

    • +11

Hate to say it but Amazon have set the standard…using AusPost and still able to fulfil orders quickly with automatic updates - even when they are delayed they under promise by quoting longer shipping times then smash it by beating the ETA date by days.

It's 2020 if you are a retailer with an online presence (some still don't do online ordering!) then you have no excuse to take weeks to ship a domestic order.

      • Agree wholeheartedly, catch of the day too. The biggest value proposition is now getting the gear cheap and quickly.

Apparently Adidas are experiencing issues with delivery & cannot issue refunds or deliveries over the last 2-3 weeks. I would say thats because they're using Toll, & Tolls system was attacked & hacked recently. Crazy how a company the size of Adidas don't have a back up carrier or anything in place.

Seems like they heavily rely on toll and in turn have stopped moving their products because of the issue. They confirmed on email they received my returns 2 weeks ago & still no refund. Its not a small value either.

Long story short, reasonable prizes however you will be waiting weeks to receive your order.

    • they're not issuing refunds? So are they going to send your shoes back? I recently sent a pair of shoes back for refunds as well

      • They are doing refunds "manually", whatever that means. Mine took 3 weeks from when they received my damaged UBs, and it only happened that quick because i hounded them.

    • Maybe they use their warehousing as well - so inventory picked and packed by Toll - so can’t really have a backup.

This is the second time in months that Toll have completely messed up.

      • Correct, it is the second time & I do believe they use Toll for warehousing.

In regards to the refund, I received an email on the 12/05 saying they received my 4 boxes I sent back. They confirmed received between 1/5 & 7/5 and that a refund is being processed. It could take between 2 days to up to 2 weeks. I only received this email after I followed them up 3 times by the way. Today its 2 weeks since they received my last return and still no funds.. Not too happy.

        • Same, I'm waiting for a refund for an item i returned 3 weeks ago

        • Yep. I can understand delays in processing orders, deliveries etc, but delaying refunds for faulty items isn't ok.

    • to answer the 'back up 3PL' question it is more than likely that Toll also house the stock.
Our business has been impacted by that Toll stuff up and we are leaving them as they have been poor performers even before the cyber attack.

  • Ah shame its originals, wanted to grab some 20's missed out last time

If youre ordering for your child and he's a size 2 now, order size 3 or 3.5 to make sure they don't outgrow the shoes before it actually arrives.

  • anyone knows if can combined 2 codes?

    I have a birthday code as well/ =D

  • Couldn't see anything I liked on Adidas' website but I thought these Rod Lavers are decent value from JD sports;

    https://www.jd-sports.com.au/product/blue-adidas-originals-r…

  • Don't forget to create the account on their website you get further 10% I believe

    • I don't think so. I have account and never got any further 10%. I think you are talking about CK :P

I won't buy from adidas again after the shit show that was the last sale. Only just got my refund for the damaged shoes yesterday…

  • Why no mention about shipping?

  • when i got to delivery screen and saw the 21 business days for delivery i pretty much closed that browser , geez 21 business days is like getting something from overseas

    • +1

and I reckon you'd be lucky to get it that quickly. I can't believe they're having another sale when they clearly didn't cope at all with their last one and are still trying to recover.

      • 3 years later… (spongebob voiceover voice)

  • DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS! Still waiting for the shipment from 05/06. It has not yet been packed.

    • You travelled into the future to order on June 5?

      • it was probably 5/06/2019… Wouldn't surprise me…

      • It is a US habit sorry!

  • Why does Adidas have so many sales compared to Nike?

    • I know right! Nike rarely ever has any. Not going to lie, I just made an earlier post about not receiving my refunds + orders will be delivered late & I basically just bought enough shoes for 2-3 families.. LARGE families.

  • -3

so many exclusions. Shoes, pants, kids shoes, all excluded at least for the 3 items I started looking at.

  • Doesn’t work on outlet items

  • What is the code please? Tia.
