    • Isn't red already the fastest colour?

        No, that sucks..

          Just like your jokes.

          • @unco: Which jokes?

            • @jv: They are so bad that even you forget they are jokes

What does the "Pro" and the "+" do?

    • +8

Increase the price to pro levels.
Also pays the company extra for marketing their pro products.

      • +6

Dyson = expensive. Absolute = absolutely expensive. Pro = better (and more expensive) than the home edition. Plus = bigger in size (and price) than non-plus.

My neighbour once asked if they could use my vacuum cleaner. I said "sure! As long as you don't take it out of my house"

Thank you, you can catch me on Tuesday nights

    • +1

I'm sure you love having the neighbour over

There are better deals around - some companies have 25% off offers with Dyson (Mum just bought the v11 Complete Pro extra for sub $1000). People need to check with their staff programmes etc to see if it's included.

      Other companies such as…..?

    • Which company did your mum get the discount with? Maybe I can check with friends who might be with the same one.

I don’t think this has the latest V11 motor with 220AW and removable battery? I paid $1100 for the V11 Absolute Extra which basically shares the same motor and battery as the larger sibling - V11 Outsize.

    • Does V11 Absolute Extra have wider head/brush as well?

      • +1

Nope which helps with manoeuvring around the house actually. Also a smaller bin size. I tested the Absolute Extra and Outsize back to back and found the Outsize too huge/heavy for a portable stick vacuum

        • ok thanks, may be I should try it out, before committing as well.

        • I'm upgrading from the V6 Absolute and the Outsize is definitely too heavy and bulky for my liking. At half a kilo lighter than the Outsize, the Absolute Extra is my pick too because it's a 2020 model with the new click on battery instead of the screw on one. Also comes with the new Fluffy head for hard floors (like the Outsize) so I am sold on it. The Complete Pro would be nice but bit more expensive anyway.

Any idea when the Pro +++ model comes out? How much harder would it have to suck to get the extra ++ ?

  • Outsize is never discounted :-(

  • +1

old question how is it suck?

    • That is it one and only job.

  • Damn this thing is getting more and more expensive each release

    • +1

I think weak Aussie dollar contributes the price increase.

  • do these still blow the air right into your face like the older ones?

  • Im after a handles cordless vacuum that similar to this, but doesnt cost an arm n leg. Can some body suggest one ?

  • Haha $1300 for a stick vacuum. Let's ad pro + V11

  • I got the outsize for $1050.

It's okay - corded will always be so much better.

I use boost and it only last about 8min…
