Looks like an excellent price for the Switch lite, is it going to be all colours?

    • No, Pokemon version only at the Flash Sale Price. Regular price is A$399.

      • +4

This Pokemon Edition switch lite? $225 is a great price, but $399 is a very inflated original price.

Even EB only sells it at $329

        https://www.ebgames.com.au/product/nintendo-switch/217616-ni…

      • +1

$399 is NOT a regular price for a switch lite you scammer.

        • +3

Yep, $70 above RRP. $225 would certainly have been a deal but currently has only 9 in stock and I expect all the other great priced items will be of similar quantities. Revoked my +1

  • +3

It will be like the ebay $99 AirPods rematch, everything gone minutes before the deal is on, site crash or gone 1 sec after it get active.

Tempted to try my chance but I’d be sad if I stay until 2am and can’t manage to get anything

  • +5

    Yeah nah

  • +8

Anker Soundbuds Surge- A$0.49 plus delivery fee starts from $26.20!!!!
😂😂😂 making actual money on delivery charges.

    • do free delivery for me and i will buy 100 of this Anker wireless headphones 😂😂😂

      • -1

Sorry only one per user, and they won't last long.

    • +9

Shipping on the Anker Soundbuds will be free when it goes to the flash sale.

      • +3

How many are you selling at this price?

  • Chances of getting the iPhone…

  • Hey rep, how do we know when each item will be on sale? I don't want to be up from 2AM checking every hour

    • +1

When one deal goes live it shows you what the next one is going to be, but no, we don't have a full schedule published. Everything should repeat at least once or twice though, so if miss the early one there is still a chance later.

      • I see, any hint for when the Switch will be on sale, pretty please?

        • +2

At least once will be during normal waking hours. That's all I can give you.

  • +2

Any anker soundbuds surge link because while search they shows nothing

    • Unfortunately this item is listing for the flash sale only. Not regularly available.

      • +1

but why this is not appeared in the flash sale list?

        • The list is MORE amazing flash friday deals, not ALL amazing flash friday deals.

The list appears to be the regularly offered products, and the flash friday deals listed here seem to be half the price + ~$26.20 delivery integrated into the cost.

  • How many GB will the iPhone be?

    • 64GB, Product RED edition.

  • I did not get Iphone SE 2020 which on the website.

    There is any direct link?

  • This is a WA time zone friendly deal, it helps when we are in similar time zone as most of Asian commerce regions :-)

  • Rep, will the Key2 non-LE edition be getting cheaper in this sale?

  • +5

Should be required to state how many of each item is available. At least ebay tells you what’s the cap

    • Agreed.

  • Delivery fees?

    • I get $26 aud for shipping trying to check out for an item

    • Free over $300

  • Wondering what the buy limit will be on the iPhone SE 2020?

  • +1

This is essentially a competition where you have to pay if you win. Not really a bargain I’m afraid.

    • Isn't any really good bargain time constraint?
It'll get the blood flowing as you smash that mouse. ;)

  • +8

Yeah okay so this ‘sale’ is complete BS. Seller is not disclosing the amount of ‘featured item’ products available, and the rest are mostly just pathetic discounts like 2% and…

    FAKE RRPs

example iPhone SE 64GB RRP is $749, yet OP is FALSELY claiming the RRP is $899 and selling at the ‘discounted price’ of $829 which is $80 more than the Apple RRP!!!

Negworthy BS yet this will still get upvotes because people will see the title and blindly click +

    • +2

I also noticed for ipad 10.2 inch and series 5 watch, they just increased the RRP, even you can buy same product from apple website cheaper then this website.

      Scammer

    • +1

Agreed, just full on scam to drive traffic to the site. People should read more comments here and just don’t buy anything from the site.

  • +2

Can't locate Anker Soundbuds surge - where is the link!?

  • +1

Following for the negs at 2am

  • +6

Is that really a Nintendo Switch V2 Grey Console on special for $799.99?
    Surely that's a joke?

    • +3

Yeah, the pre-sale prices are a bit extravagant! Switch Lites are also $399 there. Do your homework guys and don't just get suckered into the "I'm Saving $$$" marketing sales tactic

  • +3

They are making fool on some of the items
Apple Ipad 10.2 inch 128 GB wifi is $799.99 on this website but Apple official website is selling it in $689.

    Same with Series 5 watch

Just check the price before losing the money on this website.

  • +2

I used to find expansys have good price item 10 years ago but this day, I dont use them anymore since most of their items are more expensive compare to retail shop. Got a feeling those flash sales items they mention will have less than 100 or 10 units for sale. People will get sucked thinking they can actually got the items but few days later they will issue a refund that take some times.

    • +5

it’s definitely less than 10 units. Considering op is avoiding that question. If they have even a reasonable amount they wouldn’t hide it

  • +1

    dodgy AF

  • +1

    lol

In Stock Now — 1 Available

  • +6

    Negging because
No mention of how many units available.
When and what will be available
higher prices than RRP -recommended rip off price
OP’s been online after posting this for 2 hrs and refuse to answer any important questions

Pure publicity stunt for probably offering 2 of each items. This can’t even be classified as competition, let alone a deal

  • +1

Here we go boys and girls… Good luck

  • +1

Scam, I refresh the page and did not shaw the deal until one minute and when it shows on the page and it says all gone.

  • did any one actually got note 9?

  • Redmi Note was the first deal, didn't even load for me until after 2minutes. Wondering who grabbed it.

  • +1

The deal didn't appear until 2-3mins after 2am and was sold out immediately on clicking the go to basket button…

There are still 4 in stock in the more deals section..

The deal still has their Xmas terms attached.
    https://www.expansys.com.au/static/xmas-terms

"Stock is not allocated in basket until paid".
I don't see how anyone could have fully checked out units in the time the deal appeared.

  • +1

    Pitchforks! Get your pitchforks here!

  • The only thing I can say that this website is just getting attentions that's it because on the exact time it was nothing on the website even after refreshing the page but at 2.02am it was redmi amd it was sold. What the F@.

They are just making fool that it nothing more.

  • I got the phone, when I check out, I can see only 2 available, the shipping cost is high ($28.82), in total I paid $205.81 and they offered the low end model, grey color. On a quick google search, the best price is around $275 delivered, so a saving about 25%.

For the switch lite, I would think the shipping cost will be roughly the same if not more.

    • Any proof of purchase? Delivery was/is showing as free for the phone currently on the website.

      • +1

        he is telling a lie.

        • See my comment, I have no reason to lie; this is actually the first time I heard this website and first time ever purchase from them

      • I guess I was just lucky, the delivery is free for over $300, I got the confirmation order in my email and PayPal email for the payment as well.
Below is the from my confirmation email:

        Order summary:

Code Description Unit price Qty Total
        323588_SK Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S Dual-SIM (Global, 4GB/64GB, Interstellar Grey, Flash Sale) A$160.90 1 A$160.90
        AU_PLUG Universal Plug Converter for AU/NZ A$0.00 1 A$0.00
        Subtotal A$176.99
        Shipping A$28.82
        Total A$205.81
        VAT (10%) A$18.71
These prices are in Australian Dollars.

        • That seems to confirm the deal was for one phone and another in stock reserved for later today. Good job on the min 10 quantity requirement, Expansys..

  • +1

    Scam Alert!

  • +3

Is this actually sale or just a way to build traffic to the store, nvm it a scam. Please ban

  • +4

This is dodgy as. What bargains? Nintendo Switch $799, Lite $399.99 Animal crossing $110.99, Ring Fit Adventure $264.99. PS4 Death Stranding $112.99,

It gets better! Switch Lite bundles! "Bundle and save"

A switch lite (RRP $330.00, their price $399.99) and Animal Crossing (RRP 79.95, their price $110.99) only $509.99! A princely saving of $0.99! And only $100.04 over RRP!

  • +5

It's official now. It's a full on scam happening in the middle of the night

    • +1

I laugh at this, what kind of person would stay up 3am for Thermometer.

      • Don't laugh my friend. Btw you are also up at 3am. I had no desire to buy thermometer. I am waiting for iPhone that I probably won't buy either or by the look of it game is rigged and I got no chance. Just so you know I am at work and I am checking every now and then to kill time. And so are you except you probably are just up doing not much. What kind of person will do that?

      • +1

As a West Australian, this crap isn't even worth staying up until 1 for.

  • +2

I refreshed page at 3 am. I tried to check out within 5 seconds and item is sold. How is this possible? Scammers at work

    • I highly recommend revoking your + vote for this post!

      • How do I do it? I tried but it didn't work

      • +1

        Done

  • +5

Thermometer sold out as soon as 3:00am hit. Don't bother wasting your time, unless you want to be continuously disappointed every hour

Edit: happened to be awake and test checkout on a mediocre product/price.

  • +4

Isn't even worth wasting my time as I'm twiddling my thumbs on night shift

  • +1

What a scam. Don't know how they are allowed to operate at such an inflated RRP. We can safely assume that there are 0 quantities and this is a click bait to get traffic to the site.

  • +2

Wait you have to sign up for their newsletter to even check availability?
I agree they should be removed from this website.

  • +6

Nothing even showed up for 4am. Refreshed right on 4am and it just said next deal 59 minutes.

  • +1

Bull$h!t sale, no mention of time or units available.

  • +2

Are they using this to get us to sign up to their newsletters? Can OP confirm order quantities? This seems super dodgy. At least give us some information about when deals go live.

  • +4

Inflated RRP, number of units available not disclosed.

  • +2

If you add an item to your cart, the website literally says "congratulations! You're a winner". This is a glorified competition that you have to pay for.

  • ExpansysDoesIT - can you please specify the number available for each flash sale item as mentioned in our deal posting guidelines on quantity. Thanks.

    • +1

      When will OP update quantities?

      • +1

After the sales ends and he get all the website traffic he wanted.
Surely that’s enough to unpublish the deal and ban op from posting. His past deals all barely get any likes

        • Good luck! It’s near impossible for reps to get postbanned from this site

  • +2

Exploring the checkout process on an SE 2020 for shiz&gigs -

EXPANSYS AU Import Declaration & Processing Fee
    1 A$83.00

I wonder if the $555 deal at 10am will also be subject to this fee, making the phone only 10% cheaper than other competitors…

Edit: I can't tell because it's gone in less than 7 seconds somehow.

  • +3

iPhone gone in 5 seconds… Even eBay is not that fast.

  • +3

    Smells like a scam

  • +3

Managed to add the masks to the cart but the shipping ruined the deal.

  • +4

A marketing exercise to collect email addresses is not going to translate into future customers.

  • +5

I'm sure burning your reputation in pursuit of some email addresses to sell to the highest bidder will surely lead to future business.

    Clowns.

  • +3

Store rep was very active yesterday here. No responses since the time sale started!

    • +3

      gonna log off for now

      Serious?

    • +1

      get them here in HK

So is all your stock Hong Kong stock? Do all items come with an Australian warranty and invoice then?

      • +3

Expansys (Hong Kong) Limited, a limited company registered with number 0897798 whose registered office is at 4 Lei Muk Rd, Shek Lei, Hong Kong.

Although ACL should apply to them as they would most likely be deemed to be making representations in Australia (posting on Ozbargain, .com.au, australia logo) and possibly carrying on business in Australia (I couldn't find the company linked to the .com.au but it says "Mobile and Wireless Group Limited").

        • +2

Yeah should've realised something was amiss when some people pointed out shipping small items was close to $30!

I hadn't a clue as everything seems to point to them being Australian. Digging a little deeper reveals the truth though

    • +1

How do I unsubscribe to your email?

    • +2

Will reconsider what we offer next time based on that.

      Don’t bother coming back.

    • +3

      Take a hike son.

Deals that were "sold out" instantly are now apparently cycling back for "upcoming deals" on your site.

Congrats on scamming people out of their tertiary email address that never gets used…
