I got an email for this and believe it's a targeted deal. Google One members can get three months of YouTube Premium for free (worth $45) which allows you to enjoy YouTube and YouTube Music ad-free, offline, and in the background. Standard trial is only one month. The subscription needs to be activated by 31st October and is only available for those who have activated a Google One account by 30/09/2020. Offer is not available to customers who currently have, or have previously had, a subscription or free trial of YouTube Premium (previously YouTube Red), YouTube Music Premium or Google Play Music.

For those that don't know, Google One is the subscription management service for additional Google cloud storage (i.e. space for Gmail, Google Photos, Google Drive, etc). Why it needed to be its own website and service name, I have no clue ..

      It is their paid additional storage service.
      i.e. i have too many emails, photos and files and exceed their free limit so pay each month.
      Similar to apple's icloud service.

    If you consume a lot of content on YouTube I'll say that once you've had YouTube Premium you'll never go back to the free tier.

      Even if you're not eligible for this deal, the less than $3 a month I pay for Indian Google Play music/youtube red is well worth it.

      You need to be logged into the account that you are subscribed to Google One on. Only then will it alter to three months. I've tested and verified this myself. As for VPN hacks, I'm not sure.

    Use a VPN and sign up to YouTube premium via India. I pay about $2.60/month.

      Do you need to have your VPN on and connected to India everytime you use YouTube? Or is it just during registration?

        Only VPN to India when you subscribe. I am a premium member for nearly a year, no problem at all. Very happy and my wife and kids can use it as well as I subscribe as family
