  • It is a starter pack or allowed to be used on recharge?

    • It’s a starter kit. If you are on boost, telstra, belong or aldi network you will need to do a port out for 30 days

      • A mate of mine ported out and ported back in next day. Has this condition changed where you need to port out for a minimum of 30 days now?

        • When was this? I ported successfully last week after trying to port last month and was told to port out for 30 days. Boost>optus>boost.

          • @aoujay51: My 12 month boost will expire in a few months which means I will need to recharge or port out. Is the reason people port out and back in to save $20 for the year and not pay the $150 recharge, or is there another reason?

            • +1

@Teedo: Yes this is the reason they do it.

          • @aoujay51: This was 3 weeks ago. He just ported out on Monday morning and ported back in Tuesday afternoon without any issues.

    • I bought a new sim card and $150 recharge yesterday from BigW. Total $152. I have not used it yet because I think I should probably stay with optus for the time being (everyone in my family has optus and they have optus-to-optus free calls etc. I picked this deal for the internationally calling but I don't think I actually need it. BigW will not refund a prepaid phone voucher. Would someone like to buy it off me please?

  • I am on plan with Teltra will end in December this year , so I can not use this offer to convert it to pre paid ?

    • It has a validity till Feb 2021, so even after 30 days of port out, should be ok

  • That flag of Viet Nam though XD. Good deal.

    apology accepted

  • Anyone ported to these guys from catch connect before? What was the experience like?

    • +1

Literally just did it from an office works price beat on a similar deal that I grabbed a while ago.

Started the port at like 5:15pm and was done by 6:30pm on a Friday night, might vary at other times but was super smooth and easy.

    • +1

No issues, just make sure all your porting details are exactly the same as what you had at catch.

    • did it 2 days ago
was all done in 10 minutes

Slightly cheaper here if you price beat at OW https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/530916

  • What about belong to boost? No special sim card needed?

    • You need a boost SIM card.

Just a heads up that if you have porting complications (like me this week) customer service is sparse - even their live chat Bot was on strike today!! I did have success today after registering to port on Mon…

    • That's weird
cause I called them 2 days ago(to get 40gb bonus on my $150 package) and they answered straight away

  • do we think officeworks will price match this one?

  • Was just thinking about picking up one of these. And it's my local servo too.

  • Boost is great. Excellent reception

  • Get someone who works for Coles and make them purchase the recharge, because ATM all Coles staff are getting 10% staff discount for purchases.

  • You can get it for $125 at the station if you pay via cash. Have a couple of sims left.

  • Just been and they are out of stock. More arriving next week.

  • Just an update, we do have one last sim at servo, if anyone is around and wanna get one.
We will have more of these something next week, I will update it here once they arrive. Thnx guys

    • Any more today?

      • Sorry mate, not for another 3 weeks as per Telstra, as they employ Toll for their logistics which was recently hacked.

        • Any update on this one mate?

          • +1

@CamsCatches: Nah mate sorry. We placed an order 3 weeks back but haven’t heard of any shipment news yet. Telstra logistics are a real pain🙂

          • +1

@CamsCatches: Available at the servo now mate, if you wanna grab one 😌
