    Is the only difference between the VR sets the games that are bundled? Are these games worth it? And would this be the more recent headset? I've never looked too closely at the VR set up for PS.

      For $55, even two decent free games make it worth it.

      I'm not much of a gamer but found three that were to my liking over the past year. It's a pretty wide and decent selection, so if you bought a PS4 for more than letting it gather dust or perform the functions that a $30 Chromecast could do, then yup worth it.

              @asa79: All the games you ever downloaded for free from the subscription are removed when the subscription runs out. They will reappear as soon as you resubscribe, with a caveat being the account can be closed by Sony if inactive for 2 years.

                  @tommypickles: The games are not wiped when your subscription ends, but you will not be able to play them. When you first start the game it will set an expiry date equal to the end date of your current subscription.

                  The games can be played offline as far as I know - maybe need to be online for the first startup to do the license checking, but maybe not since the PS+ information is likely stored on the PS too.

              Simply renewing will let you play them again.

              @asa79: You will need to add the games to your library when they’re available. after that you can play whenever you have an active subscription.

              You can’t redeem past games that you’ve missed.

        The 5 in the VR mega bundle are yours for as long as the servers are there to download them.
        Any "free" games with PS Plus are yours to use whilst you have an active PS+ subscription. You can let the sub lapse and come back periodically to reactivate them when you want

      That mega bundle have astrobot and resident evil 7 that plays on dual shock controller which btw is the best platformer of all time and one of the scariest game of all time respectively.
      But the other 3 games requires move controller and all I can say is good luck finding them lol. It's insane that just a freakin controller is selling out!!!

          All the games can be played on the dualshock. Some of them also support move controllers, and that would probably be the preferred way, but not required.

      You probably won't be able to play any of the free games you get on your US account once the plus expires between now and when you activate your Australian subscription though. Since they officially won't be tied to your Australian account and the US account is no longer able to access them or allow other accounts on the system to play them. Not a big deal if you don't care about any of the games given out, but I guess be ready to pull the trigger early if a really good game gets given out in the next couple of months.

            @dandealsau: Unsure. You might have to have had Prime for a period of time or had an account before a certain point. My account is few years old at this point and I've had Prime for most of that.
