Can’t be for real. Is it?

    • Yes, they remade it. It came out a year or so ago, and is still ridiculously expensive. Apparently the screens don't hold up well to being folded.

gotta read the 1 star review from the site…lol

Who would have suspected a $2699 phone wouldn't give value for money…

  • +4

i dont remember my old razor costing that much

  • +1

    Ouch. Bargain.

  • Does it give you the future lotto numbers ? Or is it a time travel device.

I like the concept and the nostalgia of the Razr but way to expensive for a phone with mid-range specs.

  • A great way to bankrupt a company

  • +1

It’s high time to bring in a laughing emoji for the product lol.. Nothing against the OP.. Someone was smoking when they fixed the price!

    • Yeah. We're they high when they thought of pricing this not even flagship cpu'd phone? Snapdragon 710….really you gonna ask $2k for that?

  • +3

    $2200 ??

    tell em they're dreaming

  • +1

    Overpriced to start with.

  • New Huawei phone is $3999.

Look at what huawei ceo daughter uses, an iPhone.

      • +1

Big surprise - iPhones are a status symbol to some people, especially wealthy people in certain Asian countries.

New one is coming out soon, don't bother.

  • make a 1+1 offer, i might consider. being E-sim only will make it unusable for prepaid sim in most cases.

  • I would of just settled for 2 seperate screens and make it cheap.

  • Hello Moto

    • Hello, China

      • Hello, Straya

Maybe for $1000, but no way $2000+

    • my maybe is at ~$400… base specs wise it's $200 phone..

  • +1

I heard they already doing 2 for 1 on this in the states can go down more.

    • +1

Yeah they are. Won't ship to Australia though, I checked. And locked to Verizon I think.

  • Who is paying this much for a phone? Shame on you!

  • +1

Great design, not so great specs and price is just ridiculous

  • Priced equally to the z flip… Yeah nah, good deal for the phone but I'd avoid buying the phone itself. Motorola were on something when they thought up the price for this thing.

i got excited when i heard they were remaking the razr…then i saw the price they wanted.

    tell 'em he's dreamin!

you can get an iphone 11 pro max 256gb for that price. sheesh.

When the price is about $500 PP ($2199 OFF).. I will consider buying :)

  • Holy batshit robin

Lol at low ball and spec comments. True to form of the ozbargain community.

  • If this was $49 I "might" consider it.

  • Lol.

  • JB wake me when it's $500 ($2199 off)

  • $1199? Might be.
    $2199? NO!

  • If you have to have a folding phone with this form factor get the Samsung Flip Z. It's around the same price but you get last year's flagship specs instead of budget phone specs.

How many times do people have to state the obvious?

Yes, it's expensive but the costs will come down as economies of scale increase and hopefully more manufacturers break the mould of stupendously enormous slab form factors.

I'm glad Samsung and Motorola are actually innovating smartphone design (or should I say, reviving an old form factor) instead of leaving consumers to wallow in a sea of identical-looking slabs of ever-increasing and extremely unwieldy proportions.

I wouldn't pay $2,199 for the luxury of a smaller phone footprint but if it were around $1,000, I'd gladly pay that much to have a phone that fits easily in your pocket while still having all of the benefits of a full-sized smartphone when it's unfolded.
