  Groupon refused to provide a refund back to PayPal, and just keeps money as store credit. Not going to use Groupon in the nearest future.

  Note that you don't get cashback if you use credit that was refunded to you.

  P.S. I got my money back though talking to the bank, groupon hasn't replied but the bank gave me the money. It was $20.
