Is this just RRP, not on sale?

Does anyone know if this has onvif or rtsp? Or can you integrate with home assistant?

    • RTSP would be awesome.

    • The Grid Connect app works with google assistant as I control my switches so I don’t see why not.

    • Curious too… have my doubts especially with own app

    Link doesn't work?

    • +1

      Works for me.

    • Doesn't work in Brisbane, possibly in Qld as not available here.

      • Yep not working in Hervey Bay

        • link not working nsw (sydney), but if i search for it it comes up on website link to buy then doesn't work

    • If you’re using an iPhone and Safari is in “Private” mode the link doesn’t work. Switching back to non private the link works. Well did for me anyway.

    • Doesn't work qld. Keen to check it out. Bought some xiaomi 360's for low 50s. And would like to look for alternatives to compare.

  • "All recordings can be stored locally on a micro SD card (not included) up to 128GB."
So someone can smash your camera and just take the evidence (and score a free micro SD card up to 128GB)?

If you choose to store it there, not on a server.
And if your camera is within arms reach.
And you expect your thieves to know your cameras specs.

      Then yes.

      • How would you store it on a server?

        • You grab the RTSP stream and aim it at whatever tool you wish to capture with.

          • @MasterScythe: You got the URL, user and pass?
Cause their documentation doesn't include it and their app uses an encrypted feed to prevent packet sniffing.
Their support service have no idea what any of that means and their senior techs so far aren't responding to email enquiries.

  • Is the Grid connect app just a re-skin of the Tuya Smart app (like the Mirabella and Kogan smart gear)?

    • +2

      Yes

    • Can we use Mirabella Genio smart devices with the Grid connect app? I mean control Kogan smart or Mirabella Genio devices from the same app?

      • +2

Better off just using Tuya Smart Life instead.

  • If anyone knows can we compare it to this model , please tell
blurams Dome Pro 1080p HD Security

    • Yes you can

      • Does this has same features , if you know or have used Blurams

  • Just purchased one in SA. Seems really good so far, it's outside in a bus I'm turning into a motor home and picks up the wifi inside no problems. I get notifications (postie drove up to letterbox) yet to get it working with Google assistant.

    • Is it good enough as a cheap alternative to a video doorbell (without the button)?

      • I would say yes, I have not tested the "talk" feature as yet though

        • How do you deal with just the USB cable with no power adapter?

          • @ISO9002: Replied to other comment, just used an old Samsung charger socket

  • Bought 2- they are pretty decent- just the motion part is not very sensitive.

    • How do you deal with just the USB cable with no power adapter?

  • Specs state for indoor use not outdoor so I guess needs to be kept out of the rain right under an save or carport

  • +2

Again, will order a few just for the sake of trying them and review it

    • Just picked them up from Bunnings. They only come with a USB cable with NO power adapter.

      • Correct, I just used an old Samsung phone charger socket

        • With the $39 price tag, is this a good choice? Comparing to the last TP-LINK Tapo C200 deal here where it was $95 for two?

  • +1

I noticed even with the sensitivity set to low it detects motion from passing cars headlights at night. I might have to angle the camera differently but really wanted to monitor if people were approaching at night to have a sticky beak.

    • Yeah I wondered this. Hopefully angling differently will help false notifications

  • Pretty neat gadget, though the micro SD card is (just above) the camera lens, so it is possible for someone to steal it. On top of that, a simple twist could easily demount the camera. Might need something like this to watch the camera.

Are there any hacks to somehow save the videos online?

  • The wide 85° viewing angle

    That's not very wide
