  • Hmmm just bought the viper mini from last deal… might buy the logi for friends first pc seems like a decent mouse.

  • Thanks OP.

Wouldn't mind a deal on an Android tablet. Able to pull some strings?

  • At checkout the DeathAdder reads: FIXED PRICE Coupon: AU$ 28.58. Can you please update the price Clear

  • That samsung evo plus m.2, is there a bigger size? How come there are hardly any computer accessories available? Cheers

Cheers Clear, after some cheap mice to experiment with some mods.

    Razer DeathAdder Essential
    Official Razer China: http://cn.razerzone.com/gaming-mice/razer-deathadder-essenti…
Keep in mind this is the Razer DeathAdder Essential. There are several DeathAdder iterations with different specs/features. The Razer DeathAdder Essential is essentially a DA 2013 with upgraded firmware and tweaks (may not meet your requirements).

Is Razer Deathadder Essential supported by Synapse 2 or Synapse 3?
The Razer DeathAdder Essential is only supported by the Razer Synapse 3.

    Logitech G102
Logitech G203 is the Western version of the Logitech G102 for Asia.
There are two iterations of these mice.

A search for Logitech G102 shows Geekbuying sells both the Prodigy and LIGHTSYNC in black & white. The deal linked is for the Logitech G102 Prodigy (older iteration). When you compare the description used by Geekbuying of the Prodigy, you'll see they're using the description of the LIGHTSYNC.
(refer to Logitech G203 Prodigy & Logitech G203 LIGHTSYNC)

Will be interesting to see which versions we'll be receiving.

    Authenticity
It gets difficult to determine the authenticity of a mouse because overtime the packaging, features, and physical appearance of the mouse receive a number of revisions. Some may be major where they may append the product title to reflect each revision or they may not for minor changes.

    • Easy method to see if it's genuine is to install the mouse software as counterfeit mice usually won't be compatible with the software.
    • Inspect the internals as counterfeits will use poor quality internals.
    • Refer to communities like /r/MouseReview/ and OCN lots of resources and knowledgeable people to answer your questions.

The Razer Deathadder V2 Mini is available on Geekbuying ;) Also available on Aliexpress

        • yes did you get yours

    • Yeah with PayPal conversion it ended up being $28.18AUD.
Cashrewards and Geek site seems to be working fine this morning, no lag compared to last night

  • coupon not available?

  • I just ordered both without issue. Thanks op.

  • G102.. Sorry, the coupon is not available.

    • working now

    • After login, the code works for me just now

  • got both working

  • Ordered a G102 this morning and it worked. Got a bit frustrated last night with the website being so slow, but gave me a chance to sleep on it.

Anyone ordering through Cashrewards app, make sure to pick the prodigy and not the LIGHTSYNC g102. Both come up if you search g102.

  • Thanks OP! DeathAdder ordered successfully. Cheers

  • WTF. I wanted the G102 as a backup mouse.

You should have your CC added to PayPal. Then you can set it to do its own currency conversion.

      • I haven't used PayPal for a decade. Probably get someone else with PayPal to buy it for me.

        • Way more secure these days than what it use to be. To the point I prefer paying that way.

  • Code worked for me about 2 hours ago. Paid through PayPal but not received an email confirmation from GeekBuying?

    • Check Spam? Bought it now and email went to Spam.

      • Yep, was there! Thanks

Paid around $40 for the Razer last year through a past deal on GeekBuying.

Would 100% recommend purchasing this mouse! Super comfortable and nice to use.

    Just bought at 28.58
Not sure why its gone up 1.50, but still good price i guess

  • Thanks OP. Hate my Death Adder so trying the Logitech. Why hate it? - The mouse wheel material makes my finger feel horrible, maybe I just have sensitive fingers. Switched work to a Steelseries and liking that but still had Death Adder at home.

  • Its cheaper than last night total came up as $26.75 through Paypal with Macquarie Card for the deathadder :)

  • Site was uncomfortable to use, had to remove adblock for some parts, created account and emails are going to spam folder, price went up in that time, It was a good amount of time for me to realise I don't need a new mouse and my old Razer still does the job.

  • Cheers OP grabbed the deathadder :)

Code doesn't work on Razer anymore :(

  • Looks like NNNDBRDA code has stopped working… "This coupon code has ultimately reached the limitation usage times"

    • I'm getting the same message for the G102 code.

  • Thanks, got the G102

Got the same when I went for G102

  • Any similar deals on wireless OP?

  • How does this compare to the MX master 2/3 for gaming? All the reviews are saying this is better coz of lag but I like the Logitech for its ergonomics

    • Any particular reason you mention the Logitech MX Master 2/3? Are you considering purchasing it or do you already own one? Because there's other ergonomic mice more suitable for gaming.

The Razer DeathAdder Essential & Logitech G102 Prodigy are gaming mice that will outperform the Logitech MX Master.
The Logitech MX Master Series is intended to be productivity mice (doesn't offer features you'd want in gaming mice and may even have undesirable specs).

      • Gaming mice offer customisation (eg programmable buttons, surface calibration, adjustable LOD, switchable polling rate…etc).
      • Office mice may have undesirable features (eg low polling, pos/neg accel, low IPS…etc).

If you're only after mice from Logitech they have a gaming range but don't limit yourself to one brand because you've got other options on the market for gaming mice that have ergonomic support.

  • Hey OP any chance of an extra code for the Razer

  • OP! Any chance of an extra code for the DeathAdder please??

  • Is this legitimate? I clicked the links and it looks like one of those chinese websites that sell fakes.
Anyone have experience buying from these people?

    • Just need to look at the comments and you'll see it's not fake.

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/comment/8811176/redir

      GeekBuying do not sell fakes.

      • Ok, checked out the link and geekbuying definitely looks legitimate. Thanks

      • Good deal missed!Thanks

      • Some online stores look similar because they run the same/similar software and some operate sister sites.
      • Many GeekBuying deals have been previously posted including other Razer and Logitech products.
      • See past deals of the Logitech G102 Prodigy from GeekBuying.
      • Cashback support from Cashrewards, GoCashbackAU and ShopBack Australia (illegitimate stores wouldn't be supported).

Like with every store everyone's purchasing experience will differ. See GeekBuying forums. You can also see past comments from Clear who has offerered assistance to those with issues and concerns (s/he is affiliated with GeekBuying).

      • Yes, quite good points especially this one "Some online stores look similar because they run the same/similar software and some operate sister sites."

  • bring it back please 🙏

To those that missed my previous comments: you may question if the product is genuine or faulty…

Shopping online we come across product listings which aren't always accurate and it's not always apparent there are many iterations of a product. The products may have subtle name differences or at times reuse the exact same name adding confusion and misleading the unaware. You could purchase a product thinking you're buying the latest with XYZ features but get the outdated X with out any of the YZ. eg:

    • Some don't realise there are many editions/versions of the DA (DeathAdder) with different specs. Unlike some of the other DA's, the Essential doesn't have features like RGB lighting or use Razer's optical mouse switch.
    • You may think your mouse is faulty. GeekBuying lists the Razer DeathAdder Essential - White as having single color green lighting (incorrect).  The White version has white lighting and the Black version has the green lighting.
    • You may think you've received an incorrect or fake product as the listing of the Logitech G102 Prodigy is that of the Logitech G102 LIGHTSYNC. You can tell by comparing the Prodigy and LIGHTSYNC product pages from the Logitech product page (links in previous post).
Logitech G102/203 Prodigy - White Logitech G102/203 LIGHTSYNC - White
Black scrollwheel accents Grey scrollwheel accents
Black mouse feet White mouse feet
    Black cabling White cabling
1 zone lighting 3 zone lighting
Limited lighting effects Additional lighting effects (eg colour wave and colour blend)

    Physical Differences

    • I got the Lightsync version

  • When will these ship?

    • I order both models on the 5th of June. The Logitech G102 has been sent 2 days ago. No email yet on the Razr mouse.

    • Got tracking info but it just says status: it's being prepared.

      Looks like still waiting

      • Make sure to change the carrier to UBI on 17track.net.

  • Free priority shipping

Note- shippimg may not commence untill 8 or more days after order

    • The advertised processing time is 2-7 business days.

      • I don't see that anywhere.

To me it says "order processing time may require a few days."

        I guess thats still true.

Although it's barely advertised, it's a pop up behing a hover info symbol

        • It used to say it at checkout but upon looking it seems that's no longer the case. I know the estimated shipping times were extended because of COVID so that could be why.

  • I got my mouse today, took about a week and half. I ordered the G102. Looks and works great so far, thanks!

  • got mine today, its the lightning version

  • Got the delivery today Morning. Order date was 5th June.

  • Anyone able to detect the G102 in the Logitech software?

    • Mine just arrived and the Logitech Software picked it up without issue
      https://www.logitechg.com/en-au/innovation/g-hub.html

      • +1

g-hub didn't install for me. stuck on initialising.

google shows up others with issue, the workaround that worked for me to install was installing old version as detailed here:
        went through https://www.reddit.com/r/LogitechG/comments/ev3zh4/logitech_…

though once installed g-hub doesn't detect either.
not happy, hoping at least it is not a fake!

    • +1

Cannot get it to detect either with logitech gaming software - the G102 doesn't show up on for driver downloads on the logitech site.

G-hub install crashed on me, will try again - but bit iffy the mouse.
don't usually have issues with logitech gear before.

From that post above - the box and back of mouse say lightsync. The geekbuying sticker says prodigy.
not sure how to tell if this is old or newer version.

  • +1

i ordered one of each - the razer is arriving next week - but in the meantime i have been using the logitech 102 mouse - to be honest it feels pretty average to me - like a $15 mouse but with led

the buttons in particular feel pretty trashy/cheap - i had checked a few reviews before purchasing which all gave it the thumbs up - so my question is - for those of you that have used this model logitech mouse before how does this one from geekbuying compare? cheers

  • +1

Did anyones G102 serial number on box match the serial number on back of mouse?
the one on my box seems like it is a sticker stuck over printing on box.

google search seems to indicate this is common.

    • good point - my serial numbers dont match either

      • +1

They're not supposed to. Logitech reps all over Reddit (after a quick google) confirms that the boxes have their own serial number and the mice have their own.

  • I just tried to register the G102 on the logitech website - it says….

    "No matching serial number."

    https://support.logitech.com/en_us/register

    • It's not sourced by Logitech US and you're on the US site.

      • doesnt matter - its the same database of serial numbers

  • Anyone got a problem with G102 not working properly on some surfaces? The mouse is not working on my desk surface, but working fine when i place it on the notebook or paper surface. All other mice working on my desk surface with no problems.
