      You need to unclip it from the mount, it’s actually quite fiddly to get out of the mount

      I installed one a few days ago. I have the optional solar panel. 3 days now… says 100% battery.

        Yes, definitely recommend getting the optional solar panel then you will never need to worry about battery life. Also has a waterproof connection.

    I've been waiting for a deal on the Argus 2 and solar panels but they're constantly available for this price on eBay, cheaper when they have 10% off deals.

    I think for this price the 4 pack of Eufy's is better value for me. Only thing I like better about these is being able to store to SD cards so they'll work with a power outage.

    I have one of these, so far my only critique is the motion detection to trigger record seems delayed by 3-5 seconds. It's a bit frustrating when if you want to be capturing faces/a person as they approach, so may need to re-position after initial setup. I put mine on front of house, but may move it onto a tree (or buy another).

      I second this and just re positioned mine yesterday to help with this issue but hasn't resolved it. By the time it starts recording i only catch the person walking out of frame.

        Yeah, from what i've read its a common issue across a lot of wifi cams. Not sure if upgrading to EUFY solves this but as far as a solar powered cam goes i think this still has use. I also have a few cheap little Wyze cams im about to test undercover.

          Just set up a couple of Wyze cams myself to test and was pleasantly surprised by the quality given the price. They don’t compare to the other Nest cams I’ve got but they’re not 5-10x worse when factoring in price. Nice and light on my network to as saving to SD card and only streaming when viewing is good. Nest uploads nearly 10gb a day at highest quality.

    These are good for those who are interested but this price sucks.
    I got mine for $104 AUD (Argus 2 with Solar Panel) during a stronger AUD and discount code combo. The only thing that is pretty poor is the siren. It wouldn’t deter anybody TBH, no louder than a conversation.

    Just wait until they offer up a juicy 30% and then jump on. No rush.

    Have this and the Argus Eco. I personally prefer the Eco. Way cheaper and motion detection is much more customisable.
    But less viewing angle and no starlight night vision.
