well could dirty bulk to gain a "fat" built physique

    • Works better after

      • That's been recently debunked. Same benefit if you get your protein before or after a work out. But if you fasted prior to workout, that's when it's vital to get some protein straight afterwards.

        • I meant fat is best after the workout

        • You don't need much protein before or after. You need calories.

  • Where in the app?

    • Type in nuggets in the search bar

      • Its in 'Chicken McNuggets' when regular menu is selected

This was $8 the other day wasn't it?

    • yep

      • The main advantage is that this is more of a permanent change, whereas the other offer was an occasional offer. Yes it is $1.95 more but it does provide a good meal for two (A cup water is complementary at McDonald’s with any purchase) for under $5 a head.

          For one person :P

Large chips is not really large though.

    • +5

It is larger than medium and small though.

      • -2

yes and half of the coke cup is ice. but it is still better than an empty cup, right?

    • +4

good thing you're getting two large fries

      • In my teens, I always asked for my large fries to be topped up if they were under-filled. Under-filling still happens pretty often these days, but I ain't got no time for dat.

        • +1

i find KFC is particularly bad with the under filling. maccas seems to be slightly more consistent.

          • +1

@tdw: They're trained to pinch the middle so you get less chips.

  • mine says "currently availalble"

    • Me too

      • Still available in restaurant, just not going to be on the App or kiosks

        • Cheers mate

        • worked in store for me via the kiosk,

just out of curiosity, can you order this through drive through?

  • -1

Ah it's not to bad, it's not better then two (value range valued at $5 each) Domino's value pizzas or one Domino's pizza two cans of pepsi and garlic bread for $9.95, but when compared to Aldi two boxes of Ingham chicken tempura for $3.59 a box for two, (at $7,20 for
    800grams, some will have 19 or exactly 20, so that's 38, or 40 nuggets)excludingg chips.

The Mac Donalds deal isn't to bad, just remember to say no salt so they cook a fresh batch of chips for you piping hot(pissing of the junior oiler to make a fresh batch) then add salt.

    • -3

I wish I could neg this post. If you really want fresh chips, just ask for it. We don't care. At my restaurant, 80% of the times the fries are piping hot. If you order no salt, then we really are going to have a problem, as it completely slows the whole production line.

      • +1

When doing a no salt order, as it may be an actual dietary requirement, it is treated properly. Cleaning of the fry handles, and the basin in which the fries are poured. It is 10 times easier to just ask for fresh fries then to get them with no salt, and if you put your own salt in, it will still give you the same product in the end, just without the massive hassle

Not showing on my app, maybe not available in WA?

    • Excluding WA

  • You beauty. A better package than the 24 nuggies for $9.95 IMHO … YMMV.

  • A nugget offer that comes with fries… you're spoiling us Ronald

  • not showing in mine either - QLD

but I do have 6 pack nuggets for $3
    and large fries for $1

    • It's not an offer it's a semi permanent menu item. If you navigate to the regular menu, for me it's in the 'To Share' section (I'm in QLD too)

      • Not appearing there for me in QLD?!?

        • Just checked around 10 stores in and around Brisbane, they are all in there. Only one store had "currently unavailable" but like i said, this is a semi permanent menu item so you don't have to use the app, just order normally at the restaurant.

          • @brandogs: We were trying to also take advantage of the $5off deal and maybe that filters out other deals?!?
            https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/534203

          • @brandogs: hey, thanks for posting.
Seems like its not statewide, some restaurants are showing it in the App, the restaurant closest to me isn't. On that one, its not coming up via the self-serve screen inside, either.
Happy to drive 4km further tonight :)

            • @payton: Going by this comment by an employee if it isn't showing up on the app it won't show up on the kiosk either. But still available at the normal registers/drive thru.

              • +1

@brandogs: You're right, not showing in App but can be ordered via Drive Thru (prob over the counter too), thank you!

  • only if the chips are crisp

  • not on my app

  • I can't decide whether to get this or 24 nuggets, As I can stack the 24 nuggets with $1 Large fries.

    • +2

Or get 18 Nuggets and 3 large fries for $10.95 😎

      • Nothing stopping you from getting 3 large fries and 18 nuggets for $10.95. Just depends on what you value more, 6 extra nuggets or two large fries? ;)

        • Get 10 accounts, do 10 orders, 10 large fries for $10. solved.

  • Why would they exclude WA???

    • It's payback for wanting to secede in 1933.

    • payback for the border situation lol

  • When I click on it it says it is unavailable. smh

    • No need to rely on what the app says. Just go to maccas and order it normally without the kisok/app.

  • Had this for dinner tonight. Good value. Cheaper than a value meal but man I regretted it after
