@superforever: They are mistaken- that's the price for the A71.
The A51 on the Samsung Education Store is still cheaper. Currently $455.24 (after 5% EOFY discount) plus you can get an additional $50 off with newsletter signup for first time purchase, bringing it down to $405.25.
Of course the annoying part is having access to an edu.au email but it works fine with an alumni email address if you have access to one.

Understand your concern, but we only get stock from official Samsung AU distributors, which would be the same situation when you purchase from Samsung Store, JB, Officeworks etc, as it is stock from the same distributor.
Thats good lyl but please state clearly in advertising when phones have had their factory seals opened or been re-flashed and re-boxed as people need the complete picture to make informed buying choices.

How does this go compared to a LG G8s or s10e? I am looking to replace my G6 with something mid range, mid to smaller size with a flat screen and dual sim.

A51 is not smaller size, if you want something similar to G6 you have to go with S10e.

No I don't think so… All the YouTube reviews I watched were on the 6gb version too. Because I needed it sooner I price beat OWs ridiculous $500+ and got it 5% cheaper than Tecobuy. Also OW gives 2 years warranty so I went with that and I never bought from TB before so didn't risk anything
Yeah, warranty would be easier (but all phones sold in Oz have 2 year warranty). As for the 8gb ram, apparently the latest version is 8gb (but I don't think its stocked locally yet).
@rexanator619: Yeah, looks like TB are based in Hong Kong, so not Aussie stock..I think you got lucky at OW.
