Worx isnt a well known brand…. And yet they are priced like an AEG for this 2 for 1 offer. I wonder why?

    • I think they're actually a pretty well known for their garden tools in the states. Good to see them bringing some stuff here.
Maybe they'll bring their electric dethatcher

  • how does it work? theyre all different prices.. or does it need to be 2 of the same equipment for the price of 1 ?

    • Yep. seems like 2 of the same item only. Makes it much less appealing:

Please add your desired number of “paid” items to your cart, and the free bonus items will then be SHIPPED TO YOU, THEY WILL NOT SHOW UP IN THE CHECKOUT

Example: Joe wants to buy one Worx Hammer Drill and get one free. He adds one Worx Hammer drill to his cart and checks out with one Worx Hammer drill in his cart. Autoelec will ship two Hammer Drills to Joe.

…. the heck would someone want 2 of the same equipment????

        • +2

          Agreed, pointless sale.

        • Because when your first "Worx" brand product inevitably breaks you have a spare.

You don't get it do you? Two hands, two tools. Simple. Stereo drilling

Agreed - this deal is only really useful to most people if you can buy different things.

      • Too bad Joe is locked away in prison for the next 25 years…oh that's why the 2x hammer drills Joe you sly fox.

if i was to buy a hammer drill + a 2in1 timmer/edger how does it work?

    • +1

It doesnt - 2 identical items only

    • You'll receive 2 hammer drills and 2 trimmers… lol

  • I got the blower vac from amazon. Works pretty good but not cordless.

    WTF:
Robot lawn cutter… leaves the grass laying on the ground. Creates more work than it saves.
    Jawsaw… a useless chainsaw

PS: There is nothing worse than a website that has the "someone purchased a…" popups.

Actually it's quite good to leave grass clippings on the lawn (provided they are mulched or small) so that the nutrients go back into the soil. The idea of these robots is that they'll mow often (also good for the lawn) so will only be cutting a bit off at the time.

      • Good point.

Now can you tell me why someone would buy a jawsaw? ;)

        • Cause it looks like a freaking shark! What other reason do you need?

          • @NigelTufnel: That's not doing it for me unless it's free :p

Maybe they should put a laser pointer on it's head?

  • I bought the portable pressure washer from Amazon for $99 last year. Quite useful when you don't have to drag a heavy corded washer around. Good enough for a car wash at home too. Not powerful enough for heavy duty cleaning though

  • They are like Ryobi, seems to be popular in Europe and China (?)
There's also the green series, which seems to be a tier up.

The only one I was is worx 531, it have a better grip than 523, and bigger blade, but sux they don't sell it in Australia.
I contacted worx Australia couple of weeks back, they said they have no plan to introduce it in Australia… BOOOOOO!!!

  • Anybody in Melbourne wanna split the cost for a blower or hammer drill set?

    • I would get a jigsaw or angle grinder

  • Two of the same only? Lame. Any comment Rep?

  • Anybody in Sydney would like to share the cost for WX680 350W Sonicrafter Multitool Oscillating Hyperlock please let me know. Order has been made.
