How to listen to and understand great music. Perhaps some people need a course on how to read and understand submitted bargains.

Ah good. I've been trying to get my head around the song "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving With a Pict" by Pink Floyd, for many years without resorting to drugs.

You think this will help me understand crazy frog by axle f and the fox (what does the fox say) by ylvis?

        • +1

          2 facts;

Crazy frog was stolen from a German kid, who made the "internet instanity test" where you stared at a drifting f1 car and it did the whole badadingdingding thing.
He had no proof he made it, other than old BBS posts.
He got nothing for his work.
          Jamster is a thief.

Also, "the fox" was written by a Sydney DJ as a dance track for clubs, ylvis bought it off him, and fox'd it.
          Yep, Australia is responsible :p
If you enjoy witty comedy music, ylvis is actually amazing, 'the fox' is far from their best work.

As for the Axel f tune, I think Peter Griffin understands its true nature

TGC are generally very good and will broaden your horizons. Start with your specialty or an area of interest and then broaden your subject matter. Many can be completed in 1-2 weeks.

  • I had a look at the book and it seems like great overview of music history and classical analysis. They do an awful job marketing the course, which you'll see after skimming over the course book.

  • i can finally learn to understand the greatness that is Mmmmmm Bop by Hansen.

  • Will this lecture finally make the readers understand the irony in alanis morisette's song ironic?

This course is available on Audible for $14.95/1 credit (https://www.audible.com.au/pd/How-to-Listen-to-and-Understan…). $40.50 doesn't seem like a bargain to me.

    • I just saw that too. 36hrs though. It depends on the additional content you get maybe. For the way I learn and listen, I reckon any audiobook over 8hrs, especially if the content is academic, rather than a novel, is too long. I just don't retain stuff by listening alone, like after going 10hrs deep, with more to go there's no way I'm remembering what I learnt/listened to at the 4hr mark. Anyway. A course like this one is 2nd covid wave lockdown stuff.

I have streamed 16 of these episodes since lockdown. They are outstanding and if you are interested in classical music then you will get so much from them. Personally I think this course is a gigantic bargain that gives so much for so little. 48 intense lectures is quite a challenge but there is no rush to to finish. Take your time and enjoy the ride.

  • i'm getting $129.95 (instant video), with the code taking off $13 - total $116.95.

expired now? or is there something else i needed to do? thanks guys

    • lol price jacked!

  • $129 is the normal price. $40.50 was a gift
