Didn't Chromecast 3rd gen just come out not long ago?
This is the new dongle Google that is about to release (apparently).
The leaked specs don't put it at the same level as the nVidia Shield TV unfortunately. It will likely compete with those $100 chinese Android TV boxes (Vodafone TV, Foxtel Now Box, Mi Box, etc)

Yeah I've been holding off on VTV and MiBox for the new Chromecast, though with the I/O event cancelled and other Google launches constantly postponed not sure when it will be released.

I just want the 2019 remote. All the eBay seller are international and it's like $100
Can one run KODI on this and still be able to output 7.1 Dolby Atmos and DTS x audio? I know KODI is available on Android TV but not all of them outputs 7.1 audio.
Can I watch live TV channels with this? I have mi box and can't install channel 9 application and lost outdoor TV antenna signals, as I live in unit apartment, hard to fix it.
CheersIf you're not planning on buying an indoor antenna, check out some of these guides. Scroll down to AU Freeview guides, can use Kodi or other applications. I use it through Kodi on my Xbox from time to time and on my Android head unit in the car.
