It's not limited edition just by the way. It's only limited in that what's going down in China has pushed production back, but, from the start Nintendo has never referred to it as limited.
In my case, if Nintendo never gets around to doing a Zelda themed Switch in the lead up to/release of BotW2 I plan on getting one of these. But in the meantime, no real rush.

If you're thinking of the ebay listings, the Dick Smith ones have sold out, and the Kogan ones have sold 5 in the past few minutes
Kogan owns Dick Smith online and as far as i'm aware uses the same inventory stock system. So it's no wonder both is sold out.
I don't think that's the case, for ebay at least. I bought off Kogan after Dick Smith's one ran out. They just both had 20 units each in stock
So what all this is a dock with a different skin design and different colour for the Joy-Con. And yet it comes with exactly the same Switch console as the standard release. And they put a markup on it. And yet people jump all over it.
What going on every merchant has about 50 of them that can't supply the market properly ?
EB Games web site said that there was an extremely limited supply. So every merchant who actually got it in stock only got an extremely limited amount of units. I guess this way Nintendo can have an excuse to jack up the price under the excuse of limited supply and yet people jump all over to buy it. So i think that it's all a deliberate money grab.

But it might pay to keep a lookout on Target.
@hollykryten: With any luck, but Target are a bit of an unknown right now with so many of their stores being closed or converted into Kmarts. I wouldn't be betting on it nevertheless.

Has anyone's order been cancelled, my order went through at Jun 18, 2020, 7:28 PM however it has been cancelled due to lack of stock!

I got my order in through Dick Smith's Ebay store since the actual site said "sold out". The payment went through at about 6:15pm WA time so it looks like I might end up in the same boat.
Funny because the first unit sold on their eBay store was at 20:08 which was a whole 40 minutes AFTER my order was submitted!
Worst thing is they had to do the cancellation AFTER the the JB orders got snatched up. Now it is hope for Amazon and then hope again that you make it in time
@Jarden: Honestly, soo disappointed, I didn't go for the JB HiFi restock because I thought I already secured my console through Kogan, I don't understand why they would post more stock than they were expected to receive. And how was my order not able to be fulfilled when it was purchased well before the Site and eBay listings were sold out, anyways I've emailed them so we'll just have to wait and see!
Has anybody heard back from Kogan or Dick Smith regarding your orders yet! I'm still awaiting a reply!
Nah not yet. I messaged Dick Smith's Ebay on Saturday morning to make sure my order won't get cancelled and they still have not replied yet.

I got my Dick Smith order cancelled too, placed it before the first unit was even sold on the ebay store.

@prxy: I thought it was cancelled due to the email they sent me but the order is still pending at the moment as I am still awaiting a response from Kogan who haven't replied since!

It's already 3/07 with delivery scheduled for 10/07. So doesn't look like bigw, target or amazon are getting a restock.

Have you tried calling them on their customer service number maybe better luck with a live person especially re your good point of having secured an order confirmation before the first unit was even sold on their ebay store?

It seems as if you guys have completely disregarded the email I sent you guys two weeks ago.
I don't understand why you aren't able to supply my order, I have been following and manually monitoring the original product link for the past 3 months waiting for this restock to occur, I purchased the item before you could even search for it on the website, my order was processed at 18.06.2020 at 19:28 and the console restock arrived at 19:50 a whole 22 minutes before the restock notification email arrived and 40 minutes before the product sold out at 20:08. I should have been one of the first ones to order this item so I don't see why my order cannot be fulfilled, would you be able to double-check the checkout times. I have also been a loyal customer of Kogan since 2012 and will be disappointed if you are unable to fulfil this order due to overselling despite me purchasing this product well before it sold out. If this is due to a stock issue I am happy to wait for you to contact Nintendo to request additional stock!
In addition, my order was submitted well before the first orders placed on your eBay stores for both Kogan and Dick Smith, which were both allocated 20 units each, hence 40 units were allocated on eBay as this stock allocation is shared between Kogan and Dick Smith stores my order is definitely well before the 40 orders placed on the eBay platform. The first eBay sale that was processed was your Dick Smith listing at 18-Jun-20 20:08:56 AEST which once again was placed 40 minutes after my order was placed with the last eBay order being placed at 18-Jun-20 20:49:34 AEST on the Kogan listing which is whole 1 hour and 21 minutes AFTER my order was placed. I bought from Kogan eBay and I was sent an email on the 25/6 about my order being delayed shipment until 21/7 with a $20 e-voucher as compensation.
However I just received a notification that it has been shipped today 8/7.I'm glad you got your order fulfilled, disappointed Kogan couldn't fulfil my order despite placing my order 40 minutes before the first eBay sale was made, I guess they don't fulfil orders on a first come first serve basis :(
That was fast. Sold out all ready! Glad I got the ebgames one today.
