    No cPanel? No Wordpress? Can we add our own server panels or add Wordpress ourselves?

      You don't need to have cPanel to have WordPress.
      You can install WordPress or any other PHP based website. Direct Admin is a control panel like cPanel but not as full featured.

        Only comes with 10 domains and 10 email accounts.
        Unlimited bandwidth is not unlimited when you read their terms and conditions.
        With monthly server fees and cPanel monthly costs not sure how they can sustain that pricing.
        Their next plan up is $60 per year.
        Our next plan up is only $45 per year before discount.

            @Hybroid: The best thing is they are Australian.

            Happy to support and promote any Australian Web Hosting company that is actually Australian. So many "big" hosts promote Australian hosting but their servers are actually in Singapore. If you're East coast Australia that means your data is coming via Perth!

            Australian data should be kept in Australia, not only for speed and latency but also sovereignty of ownership.

            Choose Down Under Hosting, Choose UpTime, we're happy either way if you support local business.

    I switched from netvirtue to these folks on a cpanel pro account. No complaints so far, all been good. This deal is a more cut down plan, but so far they have lived up nicely to their promises.

      Thanks for the feedback. These plans are designed to be low cost cheap alternatives to our cPanel plans but our service level is the same across all our plans

    I guess this is only for 1 domain. Is it possible to host 5 domains under the one account on the same space?

      You can add multiple domains under the one account. As long as you don't go over the storage and bandwidth you can have as many domains as you like.
      Keep in mind though that resources are shared across all domains in the one account.

          That's correct but to be clear. This is NOT cPanel, it's Direct Admin. It's like cPanel in that you can create new email accounts, manage you DNS etc.

          Hmmm, network status page is provided by a third party monitoring site. I'll get the techs to investigate.

    I'm getting "An unknown error occurred. Please try again." when trying to pay the invoice. I tried Paypal and CC (which looks to be via PP too).
