  • I got this as a present and didn't get around to trying it for a while. 1 year later the texture went weird - the liquid separated from the rest of the paste and it went a little hard. Wasnt stored in the sun or anything strange. I had to shake it vigorously and seemed to get back to normal. It must have old stock because car products like these usually last a fair amount of time especially if sealed. Perhaps this 50% sale is because it's older stock??

Overall I prefer Poorboys SSR range for swirl removal personally but it's becoming hard to find and it costs more than $20. Waxit.com.au for example only currently have 1.0 and not 2.5 (there are different products more or less abrasive) https://www.waxit.com.au/collections/poorboy-s-world/product…

I swirled my car when I tried to polish it with a powered polisher and a wool pad. You reckon the Autogym product with straight strokes will fix it?

      • I've never tried swirl removal by hand and I've been detailing for 15 years or so. I've got a random orbital with various pads (microfibre and foam not wool) and haven't had a problem. I think wool pads are normally not for finishing work. So you might start with wool pad (cutting) but finish up with something else less abrasive to give you a great finish ready for sealant.
