  • 100 friends? seriously??

  • Looks like he's fishing for some of those 100 here…
Pretty sure this was posted earlier and deleted.

  • Geez and I thought 30 reviews for truelocal was excessive.

  • Just a pyramid scheme, I'm not clicking on your link.

  • you wont get my vote!

  • SMSfun.com.au did post the same deal earlier today which I unpublished. I think you probably will not have any friend to call once you spammed 100 of your friends.

  • I agree with the above comments, but it's not THAT bad. Reason I'm saying so is because if you worked somewhere (not so reputable I guess) you could hand out flyers to each customer that sees you especially if they are of a younger generation.

Some people simply know a LOT of people, you could easily tell others "I want an iPhone, please help me" and some may do it. 100 is a lot though, but the iPhone also costs a lot.

I probably wouldn't use a referral link if someone asked me, but some others may.

    Neutral.

  • this appears to be yet another scam along the lines of "Get a Free Phone/TV/Hifi/most flavourful gadget of the moment" offers. they sometimes actually pay up, but when it boils down to it, the effort/energy/other costs you make to secure the "free" item almost aren't worth it — assuming you're not unemployed or a penniless student, you'd more than likely earn more in overtime at a real job.

as for this deal, finding 100 WILLING friends (or made-up) email addresses to sign up for you to get a free toy… it seems unlikely to work.

  • hahahaha got 124 but thanks for your votes of confidence… ill let you know if it arrives in the mail. We live in a tech savvy world with rising costs and plummeting incomes…. free smses aren't such a bad promotion in itself… and i mean, who doesn't want an iphone?

  • 5000 iphone heh? even the largest telco here couldn't get that many in stock..

  • Yeh I agree that it is a pyramid scheme — and pyramid schemes are illegal in Australia.
