    • +1 - Way overpriced.

  • your joking right

  • lol $1800 for a Dell? No thanks…

  • Lol. This would be way cheaper thru Dell. Because it's a SMB product also get your acct manager to give you a hefty discount.

  • @OP what is the main purpose for this computer?

2 monitors suggests it could be used for professional video editing = FAIL
2 monitors suggests it could be used for insane gaming but the video card can barely play 8 years old games = FAIL
    500GB hard disk = FAIL
    Price $1799 = FAIL
    "!! HURRY !! SALE ENDS MONDAY 17/10/11 5PM AEST" = FAIL

    Isn't this advertising?

@dealhunt: I think you only look for Gaming machines mate. Clearly states its a Business Desktop. As a business owner, I see the importance of a business grade desktop & great savings with this machine where it can be used for CAD designs at this price. Though expensive but with these specifications, this is a bargain. Not a deal for home users & gamers for sure!!

          He didn't even introduce himself.

So as a business owner do you have any connection with this advertisement?

    • I have two monitors and I don't do video editting or gaming on both of them (I only game on one monitor). I use the two monitors for my uni work and general internet surfing, or watching a movie and chat on the other screen, etc. All of these could be done on two monitors, so whilst this computer is a rip off your points are completely misguided on the 2 monitors regard. I'm guessing though you probably don't have two monitors given you have such a limited viewpoint of their benefits…

      • My question was what is the purpose for this expensive computer so I just gave some examples based on its hardware.
Some people might decide to let their pets play with the two monitors even if the entire computer is just a basic old model.

If you dial it up on the Dell website, this build does comes out at $3,118.40.

      Does overpriced suggest you anything?

      • I never free the triple once.

Sorry Guys. Was a typo in description. Its a business grade machine Priced at $3199 Inc Gst.

        • You joking right??

    • Yup, I got sth just over $3k online. According to abc^, speak to ur dell acct manager for discount.

Appears overpriced since ur buying from Dell who would also provide business support over the 3yrs.

I wouldn't buy this in any situation, but it is cheaper than what Dell is offering for & no one has found any other retailer with a cheaper price for exact same product. So neutral for me.

Unfortunately, the calibre of OzB prolly means there will be very little interest in such a niche product. Especially when the usage for such a high cost has yet to be justified.

  • Lol. You can now purchase the Epic Failtron 990 for only $1799!!!Shift+1!! That's right, you'll save $1400!
Wow! Rush in now to blow your wad (of cash) on a machine only really suitable for Facebook!
Forget 3D gaming and video editing - you can play Farmville on TWO screens at once!
