Terrible product, mine died after a year of casual use. I'd like to think I kept my computer and the product well maintained. Literally the only PC components to die on me since I got into computers.

What kind of maintenance did you do on the SSD?
My first SSD was a 256GB MX100 from Crucial in 2014. It died a year later. It got replaced under warranty. I have since acquired a 1TB and a 2TB one. Both have been going strong for years.
Relateable, tho my SanDisk is the one to run for years.
Since I imported my Crucial, been told to ship it abroad to maybe have it replaced , I was like , nah. And since it's dusting in a drawer…

Did you use soap? Sometimes it can get very dirty with dust.

made sure its also on so the little shockwaves it sends through will help remove the actual dirt , its like gentle scrubbing.
I sometimes pour the cleaning solution directly into the fan of my PSU so it'll go through the cables! :D

BX is a terribly cheap drive and behaves like one, the MX on the other hand is a nice bit of kit that should be purchased over a Samsung evo if price has anything to do with your thought process
BX is a good game drive though. Open world games these days really benefit from the random reads.
