    Price in title please.
And put details about the deal in the description

EDIT: Also, there doesn't seem to be any bonus Quantas FF points as stated. Probably just the standard points earned because Optus is now a QFF partner.

This looks more like an ad than a bargain.

  • 500gb hdd maybe?

And the add on the actual page:
    1/2tb hard drive.

That looks like either 1tb or 2tb hdd, not 500gb

    • that sounds like we get to choose between a 1 or a 2 TB drive to me too.

  • Either way, its definately not a "500MB Transcend hard drive" this intelligent and bright young rep has posted.

    • Sorry my mistake tht's 500gb

  • "Protable" hard drive?

    • Yes 500gb

      • -1

So what is a protable hard drive?

        • +1

          you can prot it dummy

          some people - geesh ;-)

  • now, who would want a 500mb drive at this day and age? Even the phone nowadays has way much more in RAM!

    • Sorry tht's 500gb

    Nokia still around?

    • I've got no problem with nokia or would your prefer Motorola ? ;)

    • +2

      sadly they are still around.
I've never forgiven them for the poor service I received years ago, despite being a loyal customer. I knew they didn't listen to their customers then and it would bite them in the a**, and their inferior phones, app store and dwindling market share proves it.

It'll be a great day when they die off IMO.

Has anyone tried this phone yet? I have used 6-7 Nokia phones over the last 12 years, and the last 3 models were getting worse and worse. At the end, I went with an Iphone as I just couldnt tolerate the unreliability of the nokia any more.

      • I can't comment fully on this as I don't have the phone yet but from what I've seen it looks like just about the best phone on the market at the moment. I've held a dummy model and it feels fairly nice, interesting front camera position and if you're looking at the 16GB model the unusual colours are certainly a suprise. I think the home screen doesn't give the phone credit, the open menu screens really make the phone look nice and if you have a look on youtube you can see some nice videos.

Hope mine is delivered soon ;)

  • Sorry guys that's 500gb…!!

500 gram bits, or you mean 500GB? :-)

Wouldn't hurt to put "N9" in the title.
And min. cost $1416 should be there too.

      • 500GB

Hey manic, what is a gram bit? : (

Don't take any notice of the Pedants and Tards, O.P.

    • Hey manic, what is a gram bit? : (

dunno, but 8 million of them make a tonne-byte.

I had a play with the N9 today and am VERY impressed. WTF are Nokia playing at by saying this is a dead platform before release? They should be pricing it at $399 if they want to get a foothold back in the market again.

  • good camera and that's about it

  • …the bottom line is that you are then stuck with Optus for two years. Hell no!

  • +1

Also, be clearer on the Qantas Frequent Flyer points. Unless you are offering bonus points then remove it.
Otherwise it just like advertising a bargain at coles and saying you get free flybuys points when it's just the points you would earn spending that amount of money anyway.

  • +3

3 months free if you go directly to Optus.
Total minimum costs on 24 month plan is $1239

It's $1416 if you go Allphones
500GB Transcend Hard Drive definitely worth much LESS than the difference ($59 x 3 = $177)
