That's detailed but gift card option shouldn't be in the title?

  • Amazon report cashback sans GST, suncorp Amazon gift cards limited to $500/month. THe final price will be closer to $600

    • Good point. I pre bought mine so I had the full amount.

      • The price in the title should reflect final price paid during checkout, it should not take into account gift cards / commission refunds. Guideline. You can leave those calculations in the description.

      • Even then it doesn't work out to be $587.17

        Item: $584.05
        Delivery: $15.35
        GST: $59.95
        Order Total: $659.35

        Bonus cashback: -$5
        5% cashback: -$29.20
Saving from 3% gift cards: -$19.78

        Final cost: $605.37

This was updated a little while ago refresh your browser :) if its too high dont buy :)

  • Bit the bullet, thanks

    • You're welcome. Likewise… been holding out for a great price.

    • those're 12 cores of bullets just for the record. nice buy

      • And it's been dispatched! Man that was quick.

        • Has yours really been dispatched? I posted the deal and ordered before you - no dispatch.

  • I wonder how much longer this Amazon UK loophole will last

    • They fixed it, i think

      • I just used it…

    • I'm not seeing any more Amazon UK deals. So they may have fixed it

  • Would you get assassins creed with it? There is a new promo.

    • Can't see on the website on how to claim?

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but Cashback employee in the $5 bonus cashback thread said that the cashback only applies to the balance NOT paid by gift cards.

So if you pay for it fully via gift card, you wouldn't get any cashback. In which case it's better to skip the 3% GC and just use the 5% CB.

I just built a 3700X system why do I still want this?

    • because you get 200 extra X

  • Worth upgrade from i7 7700K?

Gaming no but productivity yeah. But you're also gonna have to buy a new motherboard since this is am4.

  • 3900x and 3600, and possibly the 3300x pending price and availability are easily the 3 best Ryzen processors.

No need for this if gaming is your number 1 though, especially at higher resolution.

Gonna be really interesting to see the new APUs soon though.

      I've got a 3600 and was previously running a RX580 with it at 1080p.

Recently upgraded to a 5700XT at 3550x1440p, and I still don't see the CPU get above 25% while gaming.

There's definitely a case for faster processors, but if all you're doing is gaming, you don't need a whole lot.

      • We are at the time where even the i3/Ryzen 3 is more than adequate.

Will be interesting to see if games natively developed for 8 core consoles start to increasing that…. but even then that's years down the track I reckon.

Absolutely just focus on GPU for most people.

I just went from a 9600k HTPC and 9900k Study PC with RTX 2080s (was easy to sell for a profit 12-18 months after purchase….) and now am just using a 3600 and a 570 (till new GPU's come out….) can't see any reason at all to change the CPU, could wait till DDR5 is common I reckon and even then it'd be virtually pointless…. only game at 4k or 3440*1440 100hz. Don't care much for other tasks, I only use it for the Internet.

  • Trigger pulled…

  • I bought this a few hours ago so still active!

  • Has this expired? Because all I see is from some suspicious asian sounding storefront on amazon with about $647?

    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/offer-listing/B07SXMZLP9/ref=dp…

    • I can see it still, scroll down to frequently bought together 3x items together. untick the other two, and its yours. The price is a couple of bux higher at 646 today.

  • Only showing $688 from USA and does not display from UK Despite clicking from "frequently bought together 3x items together".

Looks like all stock gone from Amazon UK

  • Has anyone got there's yet? I'm still waiting on "we'll ship your order as soon as possible" which is probably the UK->AU backhaul shipment (hopefully).

Last time I ordered US->AU it say in this status for quite a while…

    • So everyone but me then?
