$10 off Instore with QR Code ($10 Minimum Spend and Membership Required) for Existing Eligible Members @ IKEA

2570

Similar to the last deal but for this quarter. Basically you get $10 off (minimum spend $10) if you have an IKEA Family membership.

It doesn't seem to work online so you must use it instore.

You scan your IKEA Family membership card and then this QR code. The staff will be flagged to confirm the discount. They may or may not ask to check the email.

This also works at the restaurant and food section. Can potentially get 10 x $1 Hot Dogs for free.

Update: It works online now, as reported by a few members. However, it costs $5 for click and collect and $9+ for delivery, so probably still more worth it to use it instore.

  • Used twice at Tempe today with official email. No issues at all.

  • Used it twice in two seperate transactions with the same family card today… No issues

  • Could someone send me the email too? I have an IKEA family account but never scanned when going through checkout

    My experience at IKEA Rhodes:

Food court worked fine the first time, grabbed 15 meatballs for 50c. Tried to go for another round and the Karen behind the counter called out, "I hope you're not going to use the vouchers again. There's a scam going on at the moment." Went twice to grab items from inside IKEA using 2 different self checkouts typically looking out for staff that were quite young and didn't care too much about what was going on. After you scan the QR code, the attendant needs to press a few buttons on the machine and asks you to scan your IKEA membership. Was keen on stocking up on some meatballs but the cashier at the hot dog area where you go to pay said he had to look at the email itself, as I had a screenshot which I had done a 2 minute photoshop job with my name on it. Still wouldn't suffice for him, he had to see that the email had come from IKEA themselves, even going so far as tapping/scrolling on my phone screen to verify. Cbf'd arguing as he looked like he was quite stern on saving the company millions.

Overall, looks like a lot of them just say that there's a "scam" going on and decline scanning it, which is really IKEA's fault for using the same generic QR code. It's hit or miss with some staff that are more stringent with checking.

Here's the image I made, someone could probably put that into a fake email from IKEA or something.

    NOT VALID
This voucher is only given to IKEA Family customers who have spent over $100 in a quarter of a year.
You will be asked to show the email containing the $10 voucher code AND your matching membership barcode.

If someone has the email, can they forward it to me please? PMs are open.

Thanks so much for posting. This is the best deal around, I have used it in-store about 10 times on different days and it is still working perfectly, tried yesterday. Much appreciated

Still works at the self-checkout depending on how nice the attendant feels. Watch out for sticklers at the food sections who will insist on seeing the email..

I hate visiting IKEA in the best of times and with all that’s going on right now, why do they still insist on charging a $5 fee for Click’n Collect orders? Surely you’d want to encourage people to get in and out of your store as quick as possible without having to navigate the insidious labyrinth that is designed to keep you there as long as possible.. stupid

    • Tried then for a second time but failed even after the guy put it in

They actually don't want you to pick and collect as they want you to go in and walk as much as possible for impluse buy.

The $5 fee is for the staff to walk in the maze and get your stuff.

      • +1

        for impluse buy.

that’ll apply to most stores, yet Coles and Woolworth, figured out their online experience.
World’s largest private “charity” gonna hurt if they can’t adjust to post-COVID online world. Their $69, now, $49, delivery fee is nonsensical - their whole claim to fame is that flat-packing is supposed to reduce transport costs.

  • Has anyone experienced a "code already used" message? I used once in July, tried again yesterday at the checkout and the attendant refused due to a message appearing after scanning the code stating "code already used" (or redeemed or something similar). Tried with 2 different Ikea family memberships, same message.

  • Got “already redeemed” today at Ikea Marsden Park, can anyone confirm if it’s still working ? Thanks.

    • Did you previously use it?

      • Yes, guilty of using this before. It’s reported to be working multiple times though just wondering if that run is over ?

        • still working

          • -1

@DealSa: Thanks, do you mind if you can share email? I think I returned something so that might be causing this Coupon redeemed thing. Thanks.

  • looks like run is over, got the "already redeemed " message yesterday at Marsden park

  • Barcode is still Working.

  • Has anyone tried to use for C&C and got asked for the email to show proof of the voucher?

  • To redeem the $10 reward* you earned last quarter, just scan the QR code at the checkout next time you shop, or login to your profile and enter code IF28T6w2 online at checkout. Voucher expires on 30 September 2020.

*Offer applies to all valid purchases during the specified quarterly period with current quarter ending on 30 September 2020

Am I reading it wrong? Nowhere it said it should be used once only

Still usable today with ineligible memberships.

Tried last week with official email at Tempe. Got 'code already used' message on second purchase with same family account.

    • It looks like it limits once only now. It is not far from totally stopping improper use as all instore transactions can be found in your online account now. Maybe just one more update.

Here is my BDay Code for $10 OFF if anyone wants it assuming it works for them - B63y4Jk

    • best to post this on classifieds as a freebie

  • Used first time on my family membership at IKEA Marsden park today and worked. Thanks op
