Basically a free $20 to spend at Rotto, which should make up for some of the cost of actually getting there. Promotion period ends 31 August, but the "dollars" are good until 30 October according to the FAQ.

Book your day trip by ferry or air and get 20 Rotto Dollars to spend at Rottnest.

That’s sure to make you Quokka Happy.

All you need to do is:

  1. Enter or quote the code ROTTODOLLARS when purchasing a qualifying adult day fare from a participating ferry or air provider,

  2. Ensure you book 24 hours in advance of your travel date,

  3. Travel to Rottnest Island between 6 July and 31 August 2020,

  4. Present your ticket at the Visitor Centre when you arrive island-side and our friendly team will issue you one of the 6000 Rotto Dollars vouchers on offer, as well as some handy suggestions for how to spend your day at Rottnest.

That’s it! You’re ready to redeem your Rotto Dollars at participating businesses on the island.

    Watch the register at the grocery store. I bought 1.25 litres of soft drink. On sale for 2.50, they charged 7, even though the shelf tag said 5.50. I corrected them. They huffed and puffed. I completed the transaction, got outside and noticed that I had been overcharged on other items while I was distracted by chatting with my friend.
