You know they're not an actual clothing designer anymore and just slap their name via licensing agreements on literally anything to make a commission? That's why the quality is dreadfully poor and cheap.

Same applies to Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, etc.

Need a deal on Pyjamas than on a tie while working from home

Can't you just work naked? Great way to save even more money.

      • Nah, then the air-conditioning bills get too high

Kmart and woolies have sold out of their homebrand track suit tops …. so pyjamas next best thing when working from home.

Too cold to work naked, it's winter.

      • Barely - Other than very formal events eg interviews, meeting clients etc its a very dead accessory

      • Business in 1990s maybe….

I sure hope people who work in business would buy better ties than $5 polyester shit.

tie is great to cover buttons on tight fitting shirts when you sit down and they spread and show tummy fat or chest hair.

Also when eating lunch, throw tie over shoulder, if you spill coffee on shirt, put tie back in its place afer eating and you don't need to find a clean shirt before next meeting, I keep spare shirt work, many people don't.

I don't always wear a tie at work, but I have 2 in my draw in case it's needed.

2020 business wear, who wears brown shoes with a navy or grey suit ?

I have always wondered what on earth the purpose of a tie was. Covering food stains from lunch is by far the most plausible explanation I've ever come across.

        • Some poeple thing it's a phallic symbol - because it's just hanging there like a phallus and also pointing towards that region.

Google it, there's lots of literature about it.

    • My court appearances

  • Hmm they sold out of shorts, knee socks and sandles to match the remaining tie patterns.
