    Unless I've done something wrong, the deal appears to have expired. It's showing as $359.

    It's a brilliant product. I use it a lot, and it does a great job. It picks up a lot not picked up by other vacuums. The battery life is good. Nice and light, easy to use and much easier on the back than standard vacuums.

    I use both the carpet cleaner and the soft head.

    I just need to watch when I stop - debris in the tube drops back to the floor when the power goes off.

      On the medium setting, it's about the loudness you'd expect from a stick vacuum with good suction. The highest setting is quite loud, but you rarely use this setting as it gives quite a heinous amount of suction and only lasts ~8 mins. You only really need to use this setting in short bursts for stubborn sections.

          I only have a small non-carpeted area in my apartment so my usage on non-carpet is limited, but I would guess that Eco mode would do just fine if you're looking to pick up sand/dust from a flat surface.

    I bought the V9P when it popped up last time here on OZB. Really great vacuum cleaner, the suction really is quite impressive. Very comfortable to use as well.

    I bought the soft roller head set + carpet head. Surprisingly I found the soft roller to be fairly adequate for carpet use. The carpet head attachment is definitely better, but not completely necessary.

    I don't think I will ever buy a western market stick vacuum again. The value for money on these Xiaomi vacuums are just too high.

        electronics generally follow the bathtub curve, if it's not faulty over the first few times you use it and it has no major design flaw, statistically unlikely to break until it reaches end of life (which can range massively depending on things like capacitor origin, build quality, etc), it's the reason that extended warranties are most of the time a waste of money

      They're undoubtedly 18650s. I don't know if it's 5 in series or more, but you can just put another string of 5 (or whatever it is) in parallel and then 3D print an enclosure for it.

          Yeah Xiaomi always has a ton of subbrands and different versions of the same product - just look at their current mobile phone lineup. This is a rebadged Dreame V9P, which is a different variant of the Dreame V9. Same specs.

          I am quite pleased with this vac tho, carpet head definitely pulling its weight on carpets and tiles. Never realised the filth I lived in -.-
