          They wouldn't fit on most modern ones because they'd block the screen. Then again, if you are the kind of person that is that worried about people spying on you that you'd want to block the camera you might not care.

    i use a cut up sticky note, just the sticky bit of the strip. the adhesive doesn't damage the lens and it's so much thinner, easily replaceable.

    cost: $0 because i got an entire sticky pad for free off an pc exhibition back in those olden days.

    I got this exact same one and it is the crappiest quality, falls off and lid falls off randomly, terrible quality and no one should buy it!!! I tried all 3 of them and its all the same crap, and beware on the newer MacBooks do not use it, it will crack the lcd panel and it is costly to fix. Seller just using ozbargain to advertise. Aliexpress is cheaper for better ones, Just like @BluBoy mentioned above.

    Well most of the negs are about if they think the product is worth the cost not if it's a bargin compared to market value, much like everytime there is an Apple product bargin

      There are some webcams that don't actually have the access light hardwired into the webcam power circuit - handled by the driver.. So it's entirely possible to bypass. Not sure what genius thought that was a good idea…..
