Now you're going around calling people flat-earthers?

          How unprofessional.

It's ironic how you throw around unproven accusations at uggexpress at a whim and yet when someone accuses you of something you get hyper-defensive and call them a flat earther.

          Shame.

          • @Ghosteye: No ghosteye, you are the one throwing around wild accusations. We know what chemicals are used in Chinese made sheepskins. It's a fact.

      • +2

I had a quick look the accounts who voted positive. Most accounts seem legit (long term with activity) except these two:

        • +4

Mmm, I took a look and am inclined to agree.

Having been a long time Ozbargainer its just weird to see something get 30+ upvotes at 8am in the morning.
Those are usually reserved for out of this world overnight price errors, but extremely rare for a pair of sheepskin scuffs.

I think Mods would be able to take a look at IP-address, so I would definitely like to see some affirmation on that front too.

          • @Ghosteye: No idea on these products (lost my bloomin slippers so am tempted as im wearing through socks bad atm) but i guess this is WFH covid times anything half appealing will get up votes at 8am. First catch of the day n all.

          • +1

@Ghosteye: or not? maybe more people are using OZB these days and I regularly see it with 30+ votes in the morn. not everything is a 5g bill gates conspiracy.

goodness me, some businesses really cop it from some users on here.

            • @FlatulentFrank: I personally have been shafted by them so you can say I do have a vendetta.

But as it stands it is an accusation and a hard one to prove at that, so I'm also taking it with a grain of salt.

There's just too many odd things about this particular post that I can't really ignore.

              • @Ghosteye: Yes, I also have had negative experiences from sellers featured here, there comes a moment when there's a difference between sharing your experience and spamming the comments section. I think most users can clearly understand your frustrations without seeing it plastered all over the place. :)

                • +1

@FlatulentFrank: I've only created one original comment? And the rest are all replies?

Not sure what constitutes as spam to you but I'm not reiterating the same things over and over again.

          • @Ghosteye: They (the mods) are very good at finding fake/sockpuppet accounts, I think he would have been busted by now.

        • Just randomly saw my ID appearing in a comment, this is hilarious.
FYI, I am a real human being XD. I just happen to register to OZB recently. And I am in no way associated with UGG.

I would be happy receiving dodgy pairs at this stage, still haven't received my three pairs of mini's from April order and still waiting on a response to my last email sent three weeks ago.

      • can you DM please, I will sort this out now,

  • +5

the product that is sent is different to the product advertised on their website, the sole isn't the same, lesser quality. buyer beware.

    • negged for commenting on the quality of the product… ok

      • I didn't neg you.
But maybe if you made it clear that the product you received was lesser quality…. not all product sent to others (as you can not know that).

        • check previous deals many people have also commented on receiving different products to what was advertised.

  • +1

Haven't bought their shoes, but I just got a rug from the previous deal and the quality is excellent. I prefer ugg BOOTS though so this deal isn't for me.

  • +2

Missus bought me a pair last time. Initially they were good but now they are leaving fluff everywhere and now worn down to the sole already in a couple of months. Not sure if they are supposed to wear that quickly. Only wear them occasionally now.

    • I've had my Australian made Ozbootz for 4 years and they look brand new (and it's freezing here 9 months of the year). I would think a couple of months for sheepskin is woeful.

Edit: I even wear mine outside to chop wood etc. and they aren't the outdoor model.

  • My order from the last deal just arrived. Felt a little tight at first but the wool has now compressed enough that it feels like a good snug fit.

  • Bought two, thanks OP.

    • +1

      Thanks for supporting Australian Manufacturing

  • @UggAustraliaOfficial Can I get this product with fast delivery? I have to leave Australia by 08/08 so I'm wondering if I can get this product before that time.
I'm willing to pay extra charge for this.

    • +1

The 8th is a little tight, we cant guarantee Australia Post at the moment.
They have sometimes had delays. sorry.

    • How are you managing to get a flight?

      • I'm not Australian so ok I think

  • I bought two pairs from a deal back in may.
Took about a month to receive and I’m in Melbourne.

The sheepskin from the right slipper has already worn out on the heel.
Also note that the ‘saw tooth’ sole on the men’s slippers have scuffed my gloss polished floorboards. The women’s version have a different sole and are ok.

  • Just an update this deal will be sold out today, we have sold 300 and are only allowing 600 total to ensure speedy delivery.

    • They come up as $70 in the weekly specials?

  • The link shows it as $70. Have you run out?

    • +1

you need to use code OZBUGG

      • Thanks. Just ordered a pair.

  • +1

Bought these back in the March deal, reasonably happy but the wool where my heel sits is completely gone on both sides otherwise they feel like they will last a very long time.

  • Any deals for kids boots? Would love to pick up my toddler a pair as well

  • I got 2 pairs of these on their recent $30 deal.

Nice products with fairly quick delivery given the C19 situation.

    Go one size bigger.

    Recommended.

  • +1

Bought a pair of scuffs (as in the above pic) on a previous deal and they are brilliant. These leave all the other "genuine" ones for dead!

  • Don't see the point with no heels.

  • +1

Gotta down vote this as my last pair from a deal a couple of months ago have already started falling apart.

    • can you DM me please id like to fix this.

  • I have had my pair of Opal Ugg (I believe same manufacturer) for nearly 4 years and I am only just starting to think about getting a new pair. I was so hesitant to get them but now I have them (purely for at home) I don't want to be without.

I bought them from the old outlet in Melbourne end of 2016. I also bought a pair of scuffs at the time. I don't have the scuffs anymore but I do remember they felt slightly lower quality than the boot, but not a massive amount.

I've bought a pair of these scuffs this time and I'm sure they'll be good.

I do want to ask though, any deals on the boots coming up? I've probably got an other 6 months + out of these so I'm not in a big rush.

  • +1

Got my pair on now from the last deal & bee wearing daily instead of my ugg boots. I ordered my normal size & happy with the quality for price I paid $34.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Bought a pair for my wife and I. Cheers.

  • +1

If these ones fall apart easily, what slippers do you all recommend?

  • @UggAustraliaOfficial You haven’t answered my comment above so I thought I’d direct message you my order number as others here are. Unfortunately, as I’ve just joined (long time lurker) I’ve found I’m unable to DM you. Is there some other way, where I will get a response, that I can give you this info?

  • +2

Ordered twice now, no issues. First order 2 week postage, second 1 week. For the price they're great, keep in mind if you are WFH wearing them 12 hours a day they probably won't last as long as wearing 2-3 hours per day…

    • thanks for supporting Aussie made :)

  • +2

Posted this comment in the last "deal" about a couple of weeks ago:

Bought two pair from their last sale for my WFH needs.
Very poor quality, do not buy it.

    Here's why:

    1) upon receiving, I notice the white fluff inside was shedding. I had to comb my hand through the insides of the slippers to gently pull out the loose fluff. Made a big mess, but lucky I did this outside the house. The shed doesn't stop as I occasionally see bits of white fluff stuck on my sock or around the house.

    2) it doesn't do a good job keeping my feet warm. What's more weird is that makes my feet sweat despite it being cold. The feeling is like having cold sweats.

I will never buy from this seller again

To be Frank, I'm quite sicking of these type of marketing ads so frequently posted on ozbargain. Regardless of the quality of the product, it is not really a deal if you're running these "sale" every two weeks is it?

    • +1

Ive found this as well. The wool falling off everywhere and wearing on the heels is the biggest let down.

  • +1

    avoid seller. bad service.

  • What is the relationship between UGG Australia and Original Ugg Boots Australia?

    • No relationship, what I can say is we are the only manufacturer that has a tannery in Australia, all others buy their sheepskin from overseas.

  • +1

    …ugg-gate

  • Thanks, bought 2 pairs. Will be interested to see what the quality is like, weird to have such conflicting reports on here. Shame they don't make the old school traditional moccies

  • I’d be curious to know who buy this a full price anymore

  • Bought two pairs, one from a few months back and decided to give them another chance a couple of weeks ago (11 July) but my order has not arrive. In fact I haven't seen an email from Ugg Australia acknowledging my order.

First pair is rather underwhelming. The sole is quite hard and can be uncomfortable if used for long period of time. It also makes quite a bit of noise walking around the house, not great for late nights when everyone's sleeping. Wool does shed around the house, makes a little mess but nothing the robot vacuum can't suck up. Seems like the wool has thinned down to the point where it wont shed anymore.

Not going to neg, but not going to upvote either.. not when the 2nd pair is still not here yet.

    Can REP please advise.

    Paypal invoice ID c12750789410858.1
    Transaction ID 32S47118DL340213V.

    Thanks

    • can you DM order number please

      • As per my post, I have not seen an order number from my recent order.

        My first order #17686.

  • +2

Still wearing mine from the April deal, they're still decent and quite warm. I wear them almost the whole day every day with socks on (usually), maybe this helps keep its fluff? Or maybe I sit too much and don't get much standing mileage in them.

I'd be upset if I bought these for 70 bucks and I experienced the slow service I got, but they're 35 bucks delivered and there are no real complaints about the slippers themselves.

They're no beautiful UGG.com kind of slippers that's for sure, but they aren't crappy moisty $10 faux fur kmart ones either.

    • Totally agree. I bought mine back in May 2019. Its unfortunate that some people's experience had been negative, but for me, $35 was very reasonable. I wouldn't want to pay more. Shipping was within two weeks- Melbourne. I can't speak of quality for this deal, mine were opal deal.

  • +2

Bought a pair then I read the reviews that a few people didn't get theirs months later. I took the plunge, supported an Aussie company in these hard times, and they delivered! Six days after ordering they arrived. Comfortable, stylish and bloody warm!

Will definately recommend anyone to just give the small guys a go.

  • Thanks for the discount code OP, got a pair.

  • One more example here of short product life.

Received late April, used most days since. They were nice and warm at first, but by now the wool at the toes is worn. Left side is very thin and flat, right side the wool has completely worn away and I'm walking on cold leather.

  • Impossible to reach them if something goes wrong. My size exchange took 3 months (only got a response after opening a paypal dispute), and the pair I received back was completely different quality.

  • +1

Ordered these a couple deals back and they're worth the money at this price.

I had issues with shipping, and their emails back were not helpful. On the last deal the rep said to contact their marketing email instead with ozb in the title - this works and they sent out my order and I received in within a few days.

I can tell they are improving and they do want to fullfil orders. I would suggest they remove any other means of contact if they don't work, and they should add their marketing email to each post stating to contact them if you haven't received within a few weeks.

    Upvoted for good customer service.

    • I had the worst customer experience when I ordered them in April. Although they took a long time to respond and at times didn't respond, I was pleasantly surprised to eventually receive replacements for missing items.

With that being said about customer experience, it actually looks like they're trying to address these issues. I think starting to use a quantity cap was a good move.

  • I got a pair of these in September last year, not sure how long these are meant to last but I didn't wear them constantly and didn't work from home either. The wool inside has just become completely flat and I'm basically walking on the sole of the slipper itself. I guess I just hoped that they would last a bit longer, but warranty is only 3 months.

  • I ordered a pair in April when there was a deal here, asked for Bondi blue but received black at the end of May and had asked to cancel order.
Told them I would post them back and asked for a refund as not what I ordered, they told me to keep them and the correct pair would be sent ( 1st June).
Still waiting, haven't used the wrong black pair yet.
A bargain is not a bargain when you end up with something that you won't use.

I did end up purchasing a comfortable pair of synthetic slippers from Costco.

  • is the size in US or AUS(uk)? thanks for the reply.

  • Long time lurker. Created an account just to say I’m really happy with the purchase of these last time around. Not sure why all the hate

  • +3

    I won’t recommend UGGAUSTRALIA.

I returned my last pair due to they are faulty and was looking for exchange. They promised to provide an exchange. But after 2 months of waiting and heaps chasing up emails and calls, they processed a refund other than exchange silently without any notice. Their reason of not providing exchange is that style/size is out of stock. But hilariously, this colour and size is still selling and showing available on their website. I would say, lying to customer is normal, but please hide your lies in a smart way. The way you shown is really dodgy and really disappointed as a locally based business.

There was also another pair that I bought for my wife, and within 2 months, the joint part is splitting. Quality is another concern.

So poor customer service, and compromised quality, I would give 2 negatives if I could to UGGAUSTRALIA. And lesson learnt, I would never buy from them again. For whoever votes a positive, I hope you won’t need to contact them for any exchange or refund.

  • I bought a pair of the blue/grey ones. I spilt some coffee on one and wiped it with a tissue. I was shocked that the dye comes straight off.

There's now a large patch that's discoloured. Maybe its just the blue colour, so I would suggest getting the brown instead.

    • +1

But they have their own tannery!!!!!

  • Thanks, just ordered a pair each for son and I, hope they're of adequate quality as I live in mine (especially now in iso). Have been wanting Aussie owned and made only product.

  • Is there any stock left as every size/colour combo I tried it says sold out?

  • Just curious to find out: did anyone who sent a DM to the rep here regarding quality issues get things sorted?

I sent a DM, had a quick reply DM asking for a photo to be sent by email. I sent the photo right away, got a reply asking for more details. I replied again. All that happened Wednesday. Today silence.

Kind of reminds me of ZINGY back in 2013. Anyone here who remembers that episode?

  • I bought 2 pairs from Ozbargain but haven't got any confirmation by email. so I cannot find my tracking no. I requested "[email protected]" to get it a few days ago but nothing has been responded. Has anyone received confirmation by email once purchased?

    • +1

if you DM me your name I can look up your order for you

      • Sangjin Bae

  • Placed my order a week ago now. No update of despatch or anything yet….

    • +1

sorry but we only posted the deal 5 days ago including the weekend. All orders will leave this week.

  • Got mine today, happy with size and comfort, am in Melb so might be faster here.

  • Checked website. Saying due to covid allow 5 to 6 weeks for delivery.

    • this doesn't include this deal, 90% have been sent. any remaining will be today.

  • Ordered 29/7, got email saying they were on the way, still have not received, checked order status today, and it states "Due to COVID-19 all orders will be delayed for 3-4 week"

I think if you have not got the stock, you should refund the money.

Blaming covid 19 for everything is really starting to annoy me.

    • these have all been shipped, we aren't blaming anyone for anything. If you provide your order number I will investigate.
