    While I agree VGA is ridiculous, unfortunately a lot of office equipment (especially projectors) only have a VGA cable set up for use. Thus keeping VGA relevant in 2020 :(

    4k*2k resolution = 4096 × 2160, meaning HDMI supports 4k @ 30Hz

  "Thunderbolt 3 Compatible" is just a fancy way of saying it has a USB-C connector.
  This won't be a TB3 device.

    This doesn't appear to have PD pass through charging. So probably wouldn't get that.

      It doesn't appear that you care about your laptop, These are crap products, I had one and it bent the pins inside my usb c port and shorted it out, so DO NOT buy one of these, seller is just trying to advertise $15 cheap Junk products and make a profit

          @Circly: I use a Dell D6000. Costs a fair bit but works well. 2 X DP both at 4k 60hz. 65w USB C PD passthrough.
