Is this price worth the wait?

    • Better off getting masks

    • Same thought. I don't mind paying 5$ more for local dispatch.

Are these accurate? I have read mixed reviews.

    • Very accurate, BUT our skin is not. Walk around in the cold, go for a run, sit in front of a heater..and these devices are useless. Everyone blaims the device …it's the variable human being the issue.

Internal reading is needed for accuracy. Could try pointing it inside someone's mouth.. dunno.

    • Well in hospitals they always use an IR thermometer via ear, so technique is sound but don't know about this model.

heard there are lot of fake thermometers out there. any guarantee these are real? is AMIR a notable company?

After the vicks thermometer fiasco, I'll take a hard pass on this one. FYI - https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/vicks-forehead

Stick with a Braun in ear thermometer. Bit more expensive, but at least you know it's accurate.

    • but the key point here is "no touch/no contact" when checking customers or workers you can't stick a thermo in their ear.

      • Instructions unclear. Now got no contact thermometer stuck up my nostril.

    • I had exactly the same issue with a Braun forehead thermometer. It was dangerous.

    Accurate to within 10°C!!

    • I'm reading 0.2 for human and 0.1 for objects…. where do you get your info from

Sorry, it was a joke, if normal temp is 36.6°C then 26.6°C would be dead from hypothermia and 46.6°C would be dead from fever!!
These cheap thermometers are notoriously inaccurate.

        • Sorry mate, I'm a bit slow today obviously

Forehead thermo is useless. Why buying it? 38.7 could be 35, 36.8 is reading 34.4. what's the point.

  • has in ear mode which will give a better reading

I prefer rectal thermometers, they're the most accurate by far.

    • and the most fun

      I prefer rectal thermometers

      I find them a PITA. :)
