Oppo Find X2 Pro Black (512GB, 12GB) - $1147.00 @ Officeworks

1110

Just stumbled accross this deal, which seems like a great price for a newly released phone. Seems to be the cheapest I can find it in a walk in store. As pointed out below, possible pricing error.

Comparatively, this goes for $1449 on sale at JBHIFI. Find X2 Neo can be had for $897.00 ($999 @ JB) https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/oppo-find-….

    • How's your experience with the phone?

      • I havent opened it yet. I do have an Oppo R15 Pro & I absolutely love it! Bought it to take some travel photos before I went to Europe & it didn't fail. Camera quality was excellent, even at night. Loved that you could manually play with the camera settings. This was in 2018, bought the phone for about $600 & now its only $300-$350. Incredible value in my opinion!

Pretty excited about the Oppo Find X2 Pro - saw the specs & was overwhelmed by them. Camera looks fantastic & I mainly use my phone for taking photos when I'm not using my drone. It is pretty expensive at $1447 for an Oppo, but considering that I was happy to purchase for $1147. Wouldnt pay anymore for it only because I know it will drop significantly in price when newer models come out.

        • Looks great. Btw which drone you have? I always wanted a drone but don't have much knowledge about drones.
Please update when you start using the phone.
I agree, Oppo price drops very quickly.

I've had a few drones in my time but if you're starting out I recommend the DJI Spark - its a good little camera drone, decent quality photos/videos, nice features & one of the lower priced DJI drones. That has been & still is my main drone. Perfect to learn & get an idea if you actually enjoy droning - you dont want to spend too much cash & find out you don't like it.

Recently purchased the DJI Mavic Mini (Fly More Combo) however was having connection issues between the Remote & Drone itself whilst in flight. It would disconnect & have to return back home (if you set a home location prior to taking off - which I always do ofcourse). I ended up returning the drone. My DJI Spark wouldnt have those issues in the same location & the DJI Mavic Mini is meant to go more than double the distance of the Spark so wasnt too happy. The camera quality & flight time of the DJI Mavic Mini however was really great and still a reasonable price. Had bought it from The Good Guys for $749 (included the Fly More Combo) & they also have 10% ShopBack cashback. This was about 2 months ago.

I will likely be purchasing a DJI Mavic Air 2 in the coming months. Hoping the release of the DJI Mavic 3 in september reduces the price of the DJI Mavic Air 2 :)

            • @graceyym: Thanks for the detailed explanation. I had a look at drones more than year ago, and time flight is very less that made me not to buy. So how do you manage, is there anyway to get backup batteries or quick way to charge? How does it work ?
