ASUS TUF Gaming X3 Radeon RX 5700 XT EVO $611.15 Delivered (Paying with Afterpay) @ Computer Alliance eBay

PIN4TECH

Not a bad price given the circumstances for this card. Note that this is the revised version of the disastrous original TUF RX 5700 XT model that had a pathetic cooling system. ASUS has greatly improved the thermal design and cooling for this EVO model.

I think the general consensus is the Asrock version isn't too great based on the last post and comments

  • I'd say Sapphire Pulse/PowerColor Red Dragon/Gigabyte Gaming OC < ASUS TUF GAMING X3 EVO < XFX THICC III/PowerColor Red Devil/Sapphire Nitro+ based on fan speeds, power draw and temps from Hardware Unboxed's videos.

Do you guys think the price will drop much when new cards arrive later this year?

    • No, based on the supply chains information from China, Nvidia high end graphic cards from 2070 to 2080ti are no longer producing and go clearance until new 30 series card released, but I’d say shortage rather than clearance which means the price is highly likely go up not down, at least stay at current level.

  • i've got the gigabyte 5700xt gaming oc which fits in a corsair 250d case and doesn't go over 70c under load - why is this asus one so big??

    • Because ASUS are shit at making efficient cooling solutions for AMD so they just brute forced it. The tiny dual slot PowerColor Red Dragon is incredibly close to it lmao.
