I got the $50 voucher a while ago and just tested that it still works. However, the $49 ebay plus fee hasn't been debited from my credit card account since I signed up. Is this normal? I'm wondering maybe it'll be deducted once I redeemed the voucher? Does anyone else have the same experience?

I'm a previous member that wasn't targeted and I can confirm it worked perfectly just now. I got the warning message too but it still worked. Shows the $50 voucher code instantly once you click to pay. The voucher also shows up on "My eBay". I used it straight away to buy something from U.S. so works internationally too. I was making a purchase anyway so eBay essentially just paid me $1 to sign up to eBay Plus. I know people say eBay Plus sucks, but this deal is really good. If you use the voucher then you gained $1 and an eBay plus membership for about 30 seconds of your time.
I also got a $30 voucher offered "to stay" when I went to cancel. Seems I have a $30 voucher too now. If offered when you go to cancel just Accept the $30 voucher "to stay with us" and then once you receive it and use it then cancel eBay Plus. Even if you don't get this deal you can cancel straight away (anytime) and still keep your eBay Plus benefits btw. Saves you needing to remember to cancel.
*that's unless they only send this $30 voucher after 1 year or something to confirm I actually kept the subscription.

Yeah, mate, I got both vouchers straight away after I purchased the Ebay plus.
And I also received a $5 voucher for ebay plus products a couple days after.

I just renewed plus and tried the cancellation trick. I took the $30 voucher to stay, but nothing has come through, for a while, except the original $50 voucher.
It will be much appreciated if you can elaborate what exactly you did to get the $30 and how you got it, either via email or eBay summary voucher section.
@ja912son: When does your subscription expire? You'll only receive the $30 voucher after payment has been made for the next year.
@ja912son: Hi mate, sorry for the late reply. Yeah, the $30 voucher showed up on the My eBay summary at the same time with the $50 one. And I haven't cancelled my eBay plus yet.
However, the $30 voucher can only be used for 100 selected items that eBay choose for you (pretty much useless and overpriced products). Hope that's help, mate.

I did exactly what you guys suggested all the way until I saw you've taken the $30 voucher offer to stay option. You have to continue through the cancellation right until the final step is when they offer the $30 to stay ;)

im confused which happens often, to try & get the $50 & $30, im currently on the 30 day trial do I cancel that first then go through the link in the deal, or do I just go through the link in this deal, cancel accept the $30 it offers & should get the $50 to
Well if the 30 day trial gets the $30 voucher, you will get it before you confirm your cancellation. But my guess is the offer is for those that choose not renew their yearly eBay plus memership

Yep, can confirm I got the $50 voucher immediately after signing up again and paying. My previous membership lapsed last month and I never received an email about this offer. Can also confirm you only have 30 days to use the voucher.

Yep. It should offer the $30 voucher when you get to the last step of cancellation, so click 'I still wan't to cancel' and you still keep the benefits until 13/10/21 either way.
@kuruptz: not sure if the $30 voucher will arrive in 5 days or next year lol, maybe we should wait and see if you or others get it or not.

I signed up on the 9/9 and never received a $5 voucher. It clearly said $50 and a monthly $5 at the time. eBay assistance is saying this deal never existed and i'm only entitled to the $50.

No, it is a voucher and can only be used once (no remaining balance). I just signed up again. Not a targeted deal from my exp.

You also need a plus item in your cart as part of that $50 minimum for the $5 voucher. It's also a discount code so you can't combine with other codes.
Be careful, $50 voucher is one time use only. Even I buy a $1 item, it prompts me to use it. I'll end up losing $49 balance if I did so.

Be careful if you get the voucher. If it’s a $50 voucher, ensure you spend it all…I made the mistake of thinking the credit voucher would be drawn down with small purchases…Was I so wrong! I used my voucher on a $3.59 item and the balance was forfeited. Have already lodged a request with ebay and the outcome was “you should have read the terms and conditions”. Have lodged another request today…
There should be a dirty big asterix next to the voucher saying that any balances forfeited…

No, I just tried to buy an eBay giftcard and was denied.
You can not use it with other coupons, either.
One time use only, no remaining balance left.
So what is everyone buying? Last time I had one of these for $20 I struggled To spend it. As eBay plus items were limited and much more expensive than normal listings.

I think it can be used for a Coles purchase on eBay.
@Neoika: Yes, I used it on Coles but make sure to purchase over $50 as Items often OOS and as said above would loose remainder of the amount.
Might buy a nice portable 3/4 guitar. Might have to test one out in a store to see if they are not too small.

Well all I got was an email with products ads that contained a very tiny ad for eBay plus with a $50 voucher saying terms and condition apply.
As well as one for the 30 day free trial.
Having the ad means I would more likely get a voucher sent to me in the event they have changed the current promotion for existing users, but I don't think they have. I ended eBay plus less than a month ago and got my voucher.
This is the second time I got a $50 voucher, though I did not accept the $30 voucher to stay with eBay plus.
