Pretty sure the N300 standard pre-dates Australias federation

Do yourself a favour and purchase a cheap mesh system.

  • Definitely only N. (2.4g). I've got a drawer full of N extenders purchased off Ebay for around $15-$20. They work okay as either extenders or access points (which is perfect for smart home accessories).

Misleading putting “AC” in the name of a product that doesn’t have 802.11ac!

    • +2

      That's Kogan for you.

  • What is this AC business?

    OOPs!

  • Can this device broadcast a wireless signal via a LAN cable plugged into it from the original router? Or are the two LAN ports output only not input?

    • +1

One port is labelled WAN/LAN so it should take an input from your router.

      • Perfect. Thanks for the info!

  • Better off getting Ethernet over power extenders, these suck
